Training 2020 Preseason

I do wish the club, via the website/app, could keep us more up to date on the injuries or niggles they players have over the off season. After hearing who is in the rehab group on here, it would be nice to know why and for how long.
There’s an article on AFL.com, but it doesn’t mention MRobbo, and he looked the most ginger of the rehab guys yesterday.

MRobbo and Bundy were doing some running/movement exercises in front of us, and Robbo looked ok. Then they started doing laps, and Robbo was off the back and looked to be really struggling with his running.

I'm disappointed to hear that about CEY. When we got him my feeling was he was the kind of guy we'd probably play based on match ups given there's a but of a knock on his leg speed, but I kind of got my hopes up after hearing the rave reviews of his conditioning!

Still, even if he isn't a 22 game player this year I'd hope he can still give us some extra strength around the contest when we need it while providing some depth for Lyons and Lach.

I wouldn't worry too much yet.

It takes a while to recognise which way Lachie turns out of traffic or how Steph glances to a spot at ball ups. He might not be a lock, but it's likely that that game-sense stuff will improve a lot over the next month.

Yes, Robbo really was running at snails pace. Could basically walk faster.

She is a sprightly little chicken so I reckon I would put money on that.

Round 1 is a long way off yet, that said though with competition for spots so fierce if Mitch struggles for a bit longer he might find himself starting the season in the NEAFL. Not something that anyone would have thought just a situational thing. Very interesting couple of months in front of us.

Depth and competition for spots is such a valuable thing. Can't wait to hear how these match Sims in Tasmania go. blynd_freddie you watching the Sims?

There is always the possibility he was ill or he was asked to have an easy session to manage his load. He didn't look under any duress physically during the warm ups on the second oval or when doing rehab stuff in front of us. It was really just the lap running where he looked to be struggling/ disinterested.

Everything I saw him doing, he did without any intensity. But like you say, that may have been a directive.
Rich and Harris Andrews were in the re-hab group the other day, so wouldn’t read too much into it.

Hasn't he dyed his hair?

One of my early family was also shipped off to Tassie. In 1835 on the Arab 11.

And all for borrowing a horse.

Mine stole bread, at least a horse was cool!

Does that count as grand theft auto, 1835 edition?

I haven't watched this yet but might talk about it
Edit: don't think anything about any injury comes up. Seems all good
