This is what I think a lot of posters don’t understand. You’re drafting the player, not the position.

In today’s game, you have to be able to play multiple positions. That list you’ve suggested is a reminder that clubs - and especially RFC - move players around the ground and play them in different positions.

So draft you a kid like Brown that can take a mark, break lines and can use the footy well. He may play HBF as a junior (and more to my point he played
some forward) but that skill set can be used all over the ground.

exactly - The Trailblazers ended up with Sam Bowie over Michael Jordan as they drafted a player in the same position ( Clyde Drexler) the year before and needed a center.
