So out of the 5 picks, 4 can roll through the midfield (reading their bios) and we got a CHF/CHB. Why the melts again?

And what guaranteed AFL seniors capable KPF would you have taken? I’m tipping we didn’t rate any of those on the board and decided to look at getting one next year given there’s said to be better quality available then?Doesn't change the fact the draft record since 2017 would be among the worst in the league.
Yes they had average picks but there's barely one proven player. And it's going to look horrific if RCD, Ross and Dow bomb this year.
The confidence in Clarke from some is based on reality from 4-5+ years ago not recently. How can people defend picking 1 mid and no key forward. There is literally no one even developing or ready to play behind a 32 year old Riewoldt. Think about that.
Goater. He’s a utility but I think that we could have turned him into a tall contested midfielder IMOWho was the tall contested mid we missed?
I didn't know that.
Tasmanian 187cmBanks is a 187cm mid. Some of you blokes smoking ice again
The same drafts we picked Bolton, Balta, Baker, Stack, GrahamOur flags were won on the back of trades, free agency and drafts from 5-10 years ago.
I am talking about our drafts in the last 4 years.
So he’s a half back that we would need to turn into a mid, righto.Goater. He’s a utility but I think that we could have turned him into a tall contested midfielder IMO
They played 18 combined. Which was useful when Lynch, Riewoldt, Soldo, Toby missed games
Samson Ryan played 1, had zero stats & is now the only back up.
One of the dumbest questions i have had to answer on Bigfooty ever. How the fu** have so many of you forgot the season already?
Maybe we just see him as a Tom Stewart sort of player and let him play off half back. Fits a need with Houli gone.Tom brown could maybe play midfield he has the size and hard at it and elite skills
man bun and looks as skinny as a rake. Pass.Goater. He’s a utility but I think that we could have turned him into a tall contested midfielder IMO
Nuffies gonna nuffSo out of the 5 picks, 4 can roll through the midfield (reading their bios) and we got a CHF/CHB. Why the melts again?
Yeah. He rose up the rank because of what he showed in the midfieldSo he’s a half back that we would need to turn into a mid, righto.
Spot on. I'm my opinion it's harder for a pure mid to play any other position but a running mid size defender can easily go wing or even the occasional midfield run thru role. I back our recruiters in.So out of the 5 picks, 4 can roll through the midfield (reading their bios) and we got a CHF/CHB. Why the melts again?
I'm 100% if you went through every single team and took out their two best key forwards, and their two best rucks they'd be ****ed too.
Up until mid season of this year it was a very hard side to get into.Mix it up with Covid its hardly been ideal for any of our kids to show something.Never heard of Sampson Ryan?Doesn't change the fact the draft record since 2017 would be among the worst in the league.

I know nothing about the juniors apart from what people say on here or the phantom drafts here & there
Looks like 4 of our 5 picks were around the top 30 mark so nothing out of the ordinary there.
Just that we only have Tom & Jack as key forwards & that’s it ! So I guess there was no one around they wanted to use a pick on or , well I have no idea what the plan is
Anyway welcome to Tigerland boys , let’s hope you all have long careers in the yellow & black

Stack could be that player.
Hard as a cats head, here's hoping he starts taking his AFL career seriously because he could be AA level in the midfield
I'm 100% if you went through every single team and took out their two best key forwards, and their two best rucks they'd be f’ed too.
This makes no sense. None of these kids we drafted even got the opportunity due to our success. They literally drafted a freak in balta in 2018Our flags were won on the back of trades, free agency and drafts from 5-10 years ago.
I am talking about our drafts in the last 4 years.
Ahh, so there is someone who still wants Aarts and George. Good luck with that.I don’t care what anyone says, we did not
Need to pick a small fwd.
Stack, Rioli, junior, Bolton, Shedda, Baker, George and Aarts can all run through that small fwd role.
What? He’s taller than Petracca and equal with Dusty and OliverThat doesnt change anything really. he is not tall & at 73kg he has a hell of a lot of mass to put on before you could ever imagine him playing as a tall anyway
