Am I the only one to think they would rather place their faith in our professional recruiters (who have done so well over recent years) than keyboard warriors?

Youtube highlight watching keyboard warriors >>>>>>>>>>>>>>> professional recruiters who have extensive data and analysis.

Nah bro. We got this. Just relax ay

All this talk of people wanting a ruck worries me. They are notoriously hard to pick at this stage of development and on top of that (and outside potentially Gawn this year) a side with a dominant ruck hasn't won a flag for years.

17-20 (Nankervis is good but not in the top 3)
18 (NicNat injured, Lycett played)
16 (Dogs pioneered the no-ruck side)
13-15 (Hale)
12 (Mumford)

That's 10 years of bang average (or slightly above average) ruckmen. You don't win flags with them in modern footy.

Star midfielders get you there and tall forwards and backs get you over the line.

Let's not pickup some speculative bean pole please.

Professional recruiters have been very ordinary since 2017. Clarke has to nail this draft or he’ll set the club back 5 years

Just like to ask all my fellow recruiting experts, "Have any of you seen one or more draft prospects play live?"
I have watched Josh Sinn play school football for Xavier v Scotch. He's a gun. One of the fastest free running players I've seen. Grease lighting. Takes the game on and a great left foot. Love to hear what others may have witnessed live.

When CCJ and Chol leave we still have at least six rucks I can think of. Had a look at Ryan. He looks a little like Gawn in the way he moves. Heard some of the talk on Fox, Gawn has had two ACL's to

#7 (#9) - Ben Hobbs (Houli spot)
#15 (#17) - Mac Andrew (Astbury Spot)
#17 (#19) - Jacob Van Rooyen (Chol Spot) (#28, #40 & #44 + Chol compo for Dogs #17 + Future 3rd)
#20 (#22) (From NM for CCJ) - Darcy Wilmot (Naish Spot)

DFA - Daniel Talia (CCJ Spot)

Delist Cumberland (Parker Spot)

Delist Egg (R) Redraft Cumberland as Rookie.
No way we should delist Cumbo. Looked good at the end of season after coming back from an ACL.
Not worth risking losing him. We could keep a rookie spot free which would give as extra live pick.

I have seen Ward and Rachelle play live and both were very impressive, I would still like Ward if we can get him.

We have to fit Parker onto the senior list somehow. Any other suggestions?

You don't want to develop him for 5 years and then lose him for a 3rd round pick?
There's a sad truth in this. You're better off trading in a ruck when you need one unless you're grabbing an elite one with an early pick (Grundy, Nic Nat, Jackson, etc).

There are a plethora of midfielders in this crop, most of the highly regarded ones are around the 6ft mark so not likely to get a big bull midfielder that everyone is crying out for. Any chance Gibcus slides? If not go for Amiss, if he’s gone too, best mid

From the footage I’ve seen I to would also go for Ward, however, I believe there is no hope of getting him at pick 9. Sinn is impressive And if we could get him at our second pick I’d be rapt.
why Rachelle? I only got to see him in the Vic metro V Country footage and he did not do enough to impress.

Dimma is wanting to go again next year so i can see them drafting ready made players that can contribute.

If i am correct thats their model for the last few years
