This rule might be the rebirth of the full back. sucks for D. but offence will run sweep or toss plays with pulling guards and full backs just turning into bulldozers

Was thinking about the new number rule and it's just weird to get used to, and I can understand why QBs might not like them, is that a DB or LB wearing 22? It doesnt really matter I guess but I was thinking of some perhaps better number ideas...
1.
Offensive players only wear numbers 10-49
Defensive players only wear numbers 50-99
Kickers and Punters only wear numbers 1-9
2.
OL and DL only wear numbers 70-79 and 90-99
Everyone else can wear what they like
3.
Kickers/Punters 1-9
QBs 10-19
RBs and LBs 20-39
WRs, TEs and DBs 40-69
OL and DL 70-99
1.

Profootballtalk's Mike Florio reports contract-year Seahawks S Jamal Adams would file a grievance arguing he is a linebacker if he is franchise tagged as a safety next spring.
The difference in salary would be nearly $4 million were Adams tagged as a safety and not a 'backer. Adams lined up all over the field in 2020, including 390 snaps at linebacker by Pro Football Focus' count. This could get messy, as the sides have appeared nowhere close to a long-term agreement this summer.
