Like a lot of us, I have woken up with the post-Dusty blues, and with some underperformers throughout, but there is a lot of glass half full....

1. Dusty's score has come in Round 1, which will have only a minimal impact on his price for this season
2. Cripps and Docherty both showed that they can score heavily when needed in the first and second half respectively, the game isn't beyond them
3. Not that I have him, but Dow also showed that he can score heavily, and I'm a bit wary of needing to get him in despite his showing

I too ended up with Dusty over Walsh - And threw the VC on him tonight!
I'll either have to bring in a loop (or I have Jones who may not play this round). Hate having loops as I always end up with some sh*t stain on the bench I just can't get rid of anyway.

Max is good for 120. Don't bring in a non-playing loop just to gain 30 points, at best.

Every f***ing year. You can set your clock to it. Friday morning of round 1 and I'm already out of the SC race.

Here's how it works - the years that I start with Dusty, he has an underwhelming game against Carlton. The years I don't start him, he stars. And the years that I had him in my opening team until the day before Rd 1 (this year and 3? years ago), he goes huuuge and I will probably have to do a sideways rage trade to get him in round 3.

And he will make that decision harder when he gets about 88 next week.
