OK, hit me with feedback...Dropped from 5k to 2k this week (thanks to the two Jacks). Thinking I just go Grundy/Farrar, but which rookie to move on with Dunks?
It's either Berry ($130k left) or Hunter ($40k left), but then an upgrade next week is a bit tougher.

I still think Berry has more to give. Just a gut feel. Back this week
Hunter is a donut. and we'll never see him again. I'd trade him over Berry 100%.

The perception of making trades next week harder by having less kitty is irrelevant as it makes an assumption you have any control over the 4 injuries and 1 suspension that'll happen to your team between now and next rnd.

Bloody hell read yesterday whit was gonna be eased back in and now possibility might play soon. Thought we have atleast a month but if rumours are coming out means he is likely to play next week. Doubt it this week either way spoils my trade to Ash as its gonna affect his scoring big time. Whits there best user by far and they would rather it in his hands than ash. Heppel it is then

I'm thinking Grundy against the Gold Coast is an opportunity not to be missed.

I've been happy with Calvin's mate 'McIlroy' this year and I was in no hurry for Grundy but BB's DPP makes it more palatable for me.

At this stage this is what I'm doing: unfortunately trading out Gulden didn't give me enough cash, so it will be Phillips. Gulden's BE is 77; Phillips' is 93. So, probably the right call, just hope Phillips doesn't get one of his massive scores - he is certainly capable of it.

If Gulden is rested, well, it will have to be him...somehow.

It's probably unfair putting up luxury trades. We'll see what the next few days can throw up. Any one week injuries to a keeper, I will hold.

I know a guy who lost Neale, Dusty and Dunkley, don't know if he has any of last weeks dodgy rookies as well; it can certainly be cruel. Good luck to all. I still don't know if Ziebell was concussed or not. He's not on today's injury list - so ok, I guess.

When do the next DPPs generally come through?
After round 11 is completed. So before the byes start in round 12 which is handy, but after a massive batch at Rd 6, I'm not sure there will be much left.

Farrar FWD + Def might help some.

Grundy or Gawn forward would be the sweetest but they'll never do it.

Looking forward to Whitfield forward status courtesy of crazy Leon

I'm doing similar this week. Stuffed up my calcs a few weeks ago and was 2k short of bringing in Grundy halfway through Rd.4, so settled for McIlroy.

Was looking at mids this week, but can't miss out on Grundy against GC. Like you I'll probably trade Phillips and move McIlroy into defence

Need Crazy Leon to play Flynn one more week then I have to get Gawn.

This ******* potato of a coach is a killer.

Whose the best playable forward rook as I will need to play them this week for Dusty and week after for Tex when I trade him for Gawn.

Robbo or Farrar?
I’d say those two guys definitely, but at a cheaper price, I reckon Atu’s been great as well.

Farrar vs Coll is the winner for me.. but i think both go 70+

Hi all,

need everyone’s advice on two options, inside The top 500, however I’m missing the big three. Macrae, Grundy & Ziebell..

option 1: upgrade 1 rookie downgrade 1 rookie, bring in one of the above three (either Grundy or Ziebell with their matchups at this stage) still have $200k in the bank to get another next week

or

Option 2: upgrade Tom Phillips and Jayden Short to Grundy and Ziebell this week? But obviously have the extra rookie on field?

Feel like option 1 is better in the long run but option 2 gives me more points this week?

Firstly, who would be your extra rookie on field? Is it someone that could give you a 70-80 score or someone who will almost certainly drop a 30?

Secondly, if you are wanting Grundy and Ziebell, Grundy should be attainable next week if you did elect option 1. Ziebell has a BE of 50 and just gets further out of reach.

Thirdly, Richmond let Macrae run loose last year and he did as he pleased. We aren't the sort of team to play a hard tag and players can score massive against us. Again though he should be similar price next week.

He didn't look good at the ground on Saturday all game to be honest. Wouldn't surprise.

mentioned in the traders article and the rumoured NZ trip to see his father might mean he's out for longer than anticipated.

I have to trade him now, cannot afford to risk holding him for a month, too much other shit to deal with...

I don't know what to do. Think I'll leave him on bench for this week. he won't lose cash at least. Keep my Dunks > Ziebs and rookie downgrade and maybe do Tex & Dusty for Gawn and mid pricer or something next week.

Hmm interesting ill give him a week before even thinking about it but i have liked the look of him since before he was drafted.

And waiting 1 week wont hurt
Had something like 30 with 8 tackles 2 weeks ago and then 13 the week just gone. He will be pretty inconsistent but hopefully holds a mid spot for few weeks.
