Yeah I feel like the weekly installment with him isn't really worth a heap to a lot of people in here. For those starting out though or those who don't get to watch a lot of footy, they can get some serious benefit from listening to his podcasts. Has some good insight. The other half of it is a calculator which personally I don't think is worth bothering with considering no one can predict upcoming scores. Guess some people like trying to predict price rises and falls though.

I will say his pre season info was pretty good though. Think his pre season guide was a flat fee of $25 or something. I found it really useful and think he was more on the money than not

The fantasy app has a reasonable projection these days. Its never overly accurate but atleast its a ballpark figure to see how many weeks away they are from bottoming out.

Listen to Selby alot and he says he doesn't like double downgrading. This week gone I only had kozi and butts on bench playing (Flynn utility but you know that situation) so getting in hall and RCD this week but really wanna double down my bench to fill it with players. Is this a good idea?

I’m the same.. sometimes toy with the idea of a double down but never actually do it. Have to be making 1 clear upgrade every week there’s no forced trades.

Only time I did a double I got stuck with that spud Macrae. "Must have cash cow" I thought...

My two cents.

I'd be getting rid of Webster first - flip Hind back and trade Webster for your choice of underpriced forwards (kelly/hunter/defence etc). Immediately improves your starting team. If you need $$$ to get there, switch meek and Flynn then trade in RCD into the utility spot for Flynn. Bingo bango.

I try be positive and say oh if I double downgrade my bench like I did to get rantall and FacRae, they might be super shit and not play like what's happened and convince myself to go 1 up 1 down despite having no bench. If scott doesn't play this week I'll have a donut
If Caleb Daniel or daicos goes well again I might try get warner to them next week otherwise no one else is on my radar that I can afford.

So if jelly keeps his role, he will be under 700k still next week and we would need him before the boat sails. With that being said, my bench is absolutely ****ed and would need to trade warner and a 350k player (kozi or someone) to get him. That's trading 2 playing players next week to him and my bench will still be ****ed. Do we still prioritise getting jelly?
