Howey has won over the Hawks faithful IMO. On Saturday night I was sitting right behind the goals when he decided not to rush a behind and subsequently kicked it out on the full. Multiple Hawks fans in my area yelled out 'don't worry Howey' and 'head up mate'. Was 100% positve reinforcement which I liked.

I bloody love Dan Howe and always have. So glad he has had such a good run at it this year to show what he's worth. Our midfield is never as defensively brittle when he plays.

I'm not naming names etc., but if we went down that road (& were successful landing him) then I'd probs want to trade out a senior mid on the list, to help pay for Kelly & to bring in another 1st Rounder.

This latest news on the Kelly deal reeks of the AFL giving the Giants an out if they don’t want to pay 8 million over 8 years for an injury prone player. The lack of transparency is the worst thing

This whole situation with there being no supposed 8 year contract is why all contract terms (money and dollars) needs to be made public. As contracts become longer and bigger it is becoming more and more important especially for club members who put their hard earned $$$ into clubs. The corruption that has gone on is becoming f**king ridiculous.
