dang those pics of Kiddy with a tackle is great. He can get a hold like nobody. Hope he can influence the others to get up to his level as we slip way too many tackles for liking (anything >1 )

Couple of things from the pics.

Adams is a really big unit. Ah Chee and McStay seem to have dropped weight. Daniher looks supremely fit , better than he looked last year.

Didnt look in bad shape when I saw him in person - actually looked really jacked through the arms and shoulders standing next to zorko who's always been a solid unit himself. Might just be a unflattering picture?

He did some handballs and off ground pick up with one of the coaches at the end but both he and zorks weren't involved in the play and spent more time talking to the coaches during the session. I just assumed it was on of the privileges of seniority and to give the younger players a chance to shine in the mid work

The name players that did not play in the game
Neale: Did not participate in training at all that i saw . But i did not get to the ground till 3.45pm
Zorko: Was doing lots of running finishing in front of my position. He was spent towards the last run i saw. Photo notice drink bottle number. No sharing like in the old days
Robbo: I missed his running that others mentioned. But he did a long Boxing session before and during the game. Spent at the end but caught this typical Robbo smile in one photo.
J Berry: Only saw him doing laps. He does glide over the ground similar to Payne that i observed on the day

Could just be load management for Neale and Zorko etc. Keeping in mind at this stage (barring any unforeseen covid changes), extra 5 games and 4 mins per quarter + time on compared to 2020 season. Rotations are lower by 10 as well.

Got one of those tops. I'd wear it to games in Melbourne but it wouldn't fit me. And besides, I'm (well) over 20 years old which of course is the cut off age for people wearing guernseys to the footy

Training sessions aren’t technically open to the public, so they aren’t publicised.

BigFooty is definitely the best source of information I’ve found, and even then it can be hush hush at times.

I never saw it, but it was obviously advertised somewhere. Too many people there, for it not to have been.

Really appreciate the reports of those that can make it to training. It's hard to measure what the exact difference between this pre-season and the last two are but it just feels empty. Hopefully the club increases their coverage a lot over the next few weeks.

This is a direct quote from a discussion with the clubs media department.

There are also a lot of restrictions to work within from our football department, as a lot of what they do is confidential, so it becomes a big balancing act between what they will allow us to do and what people actually want to see.
