Is 7 or 8 freebies out of full back the barometer for him to reach 20 touches though?
It’s a fair point
The consensus with Ridley was he raffled the kick outs with redman and heppell after that early injury affected game in round 5. The first 4 games with kick outs galore he averaged 133 sc from 29 touches a game

After that in the 9 matches he had 20 touches or more without the bulk load of kick outs the average was still 105.1. So still good value if he can average that 20 touches a game which i think is realistic with their game style and now being freed up by Kelly. A 105 would be a great pick at the price of 98.7 he’s at now with the potential to go higher imo with natural growth. He locked down a lot last year and I think he’ll be more like Tom Stewart this year, loves a 1/2 with Merrett and Merrett will be a pig this year with parish getting the tag all the time!

Having guys like Ridley and Stewart in ya team, and scoring well, is so much more fun than the seagulls.

Is it?

Give me a big fat seagull pumping out big fat scores any day.
watching Lloyd and Hall get +20 points in 2 minutes without touching another human is the stuff wet dreams are made of

I'll have to watch him in the pre season if his role changes, if it stays the same he'll do the same or better. He's a genuine seagull and i love it.
Only thing that’s going for him is that breathing issue has been fixed as per buttox

But yeah I can see the appeal

Going all out here. Lloyd #1 for me this year yet again. Dawson did steal a few free chips off him last year. Order should be restored for the kick outs at the Swans.

Darcy Moore?

Came out HOT last season. Experiment up forward failed no doubt back in DEF

My backline currently looks ridiculous but i kinda like it. Rioli/Coleman/Blakey all picked due to the roles that they played to end last season. Rioli & Blakey averaged significantly more over the last 6 or so games of last season and Coleman scored well in the last few games too. Young i expect will be the designated rebounder for Freo and they will get the ball to him at every opportunity. I probably dont need to justify why i picked Sicily.
