Plus the fact Godwin is ok but not that exceptional..also fact he could be more ordinary once Brady leaves. Odd call

He put up WR1 numbers with Winston before Brady and is still only 26yo , doesn't turn 27 til next February, plus when you look at this years draft class, good luck finding a Godwin at 2.09 (which was the pick I gave up for the tag, hell be valued much higher than this on any dynasty trade chart you can find)

I definitely overpaid from a bidding perspective, but for a team not competing this year I think it made some sense given the 30m will be off the books by next season.

edit: using fantasy pros dynasty trade chart its a landslide victory, 2.09 tag value is 12 points, Godwin value is 51 points (the equivalent of a top 3 pick + a sweeter) ...in this league WRs should probably be valued even a little higher also given you can start 5 WRs per week if you desire

GG.exe if ADP trades Godwin does he reset to different salary for the person taking him on?

If so ADP could easily flip him for more than a 2

As ADP said....winning bid owner wears the bid amount for the entire season whether he trades him or releases him. The new owner in a trade would just take on his salary and contract years. Godwin is on a 5 year deal (as ADP upped his contract to 5 when he won him).

Thinking of adding/trialing Team OL as part of the roster. Something we'd do an offline draft for. 2 rounds. Max 2 per roster (16x2=32 teams). Stats simplified to ave rush yards/? vs sacks/hits against.

As long as it doesn't count towards scores this year I dont mind, still reckon something like this needs a majority league vote to approve it tho.

Of course. I just wanted to see if its doable. As the season hasn't started, i have a window of opportunity now to create a position and add scoring to it, and check the player stats page to see if its even good or not. Then delete the position and scoring for it till next year if we vote it in.

When you find can decent stats that accurately portray how well each OL performs then I'll vote yes on adding them.

But since such stats don't exist in the public domain (if at all)...

Trading 2.14 to Dagless for a (likely) 2023 2nd round upgrade and 3rd rounder profit so he could bid on Godwin (while knowing I could afford to outbid him) was decent outcome. 4D Chess making that deal, keep your friends close and (other bidding) enemies closer. Not that it makes up for the Elliott trade but ill take the little wins wherever I can get them.

Depends on what you consider a win I suppose.

I sent them another support ticket, a long one, complaining how their site has been the same for many years now, millions of suggestions I and others surely have made over the years, yet nothing ever changes, just happy to take the money and not improve their product, whilst other sites are quickly catching up like Fleaflicker.....and it wasn't Julie this time, but Mike, probably a site owner or admin, and he basically said that they dont plan on any changes, additions, improvements for the foreseeable future
