I did laugh, coz he was sitting behind Goedert on the depth chart and you were paying him near 6m per year. A VERY expensive backup TE.

These guys are worth 2.5 Milly and sitting FIRST on the depth chart.

Some fairly obvious differences there, comrade Barry.

People were too low on the RB class and too high on the WR class. And even the QB class, Pickett was slammed, Ridder wasnt thought much. At this point in time....based on preseason most of the WRs have looked meh, a lot of RBs have looked better than the hyped Hall, and Pickett and Ridder look the best.

I hope Hall improves very quickly

Think hes going to be slower out of the gate than a lot of the fantasy professionals anticipated, very ordinary preseason, looks like Carter is RB1 at this stage from the noise coming out of the Jets.

Not sure, but at this stage ill probably keep them over trading for a 6th. Things could change though. Havent really crunched any numbers yet to work out which Ill let go to get under the cap.

MFL sucks compared to FF in the basics.

FF quickly updates players, FA or still on roster, their injury status, has a billion more drafted rookies and UDFAs in the system and had them all days after the draft, whereas MFL still doesn't realize a lot of them exist (commish has to nightly check to see if new players are added to the system and give them their salaries, always dribs and drabs, some nights no one added, every third night maybe one or two get added). Also, FF's daily news wire is superb, it's like Rotoworld/NBCEdge without all the ads, popups, videos, hogging bandwidth, and has more news at the minute than even Rotoworld. Meanwhile...MFL news grabs are slim pickings.

Only thing MFL offers is deluxe league (two conferences), and salary cap, some extensive commish abilities.

But it's like they've given up caring about their product, and just raking in the dough of the paid service. They don't even deserve it compared to FF, updating constantly. How many years now MFL's draft steals and busts thing doesn't work, or franchise rankings, etc. And they just fob off your suggestions whereas FF does add things from time to time.

It's like MFL got fat quickly, offering a highly customizable site, great, but then sat back like EA Sports. FF started small, someone's mom's basement, so baby steps early, but are gradually lifting gears.

If FF offered salary cap and contracts I'd dump MFL in a heartbeat.

Id happily move also, save on costs and you have Edge and IDLs on FF, would make life far more easier not having to worry about ridiculous defensive position changes each year, throwing your roster into chaos constantly.

Tonight at midnight I'll bring all the position limits and roster size down to default.
Everyone will then have till Sept 6 to get their roster under.
After which I bring the machete out.

Yeah, that's the other big grrr with them. Players all out of position in the defensive front 7.

I emailed FF asking if there are any future plans to incorporate a salary cap/contracts league into their service.

Said how much better their site already is than espn/mfl, and how mfl for a paid site are dropping the ball with lack of updates, unwillingness to add features, and many broken aspects to their site. That if they offered a salary cap league at a reduced price they'd probably take a lot of customers off MFL.

Think he’s played WR for the first time in May? Before that, very high level lacrosse player who was a div 2 QB for one season.

Pretty crazy to be making a 53 man roster so I’m rooting for him the only way I know how.

Might be a special teams beast id say to make the roster.

I think hes referring to his indecision on who to cut and stash mate, at least thats how I read it.

No, GG was right, wanted to cut a TS player and put a different one on to bring my roster to 36.

Ended up sucking it up and adding Kene cut AGAIN with the intention to add him AGAIN.

There are issues with the system in this cutdown period too. When i bring roster and position limits back, and people are way over, you find you cant activate/demote till you get under 36 first. To get around that you have to just players first before trying to activate/demote
