Weird week, all the big guns struggling to put u scores on a no bye week.

This week.....If I win and you lose, and arakaan wins, youd be eliminated.

But if arakaan loses, and then you beat him in the final week, you could still grab 2nd spot in the division and thus a WC spot....youd both have same div rec, same conf record, and h2h would be 1-1, so next would be all-play which you currently lead 107 vs 94.

That would be worse for me for a wc spot because if i dont win week 14 vs TGBB, and me and arakaan are tied on 8-6, he would claim the wc spot on h2h tiebreakers (div, conf tied i think).

If i lose this weekend, it would get muddier because me, peterbuch and you might be tied and i think hed win the wc apot.

I think even if i win this week, and lose next week, and peterbuch wins and arakaan beats you, peterbuch could still get the wc over me (not sure yet)

Also I thought Arakaan had a better division or conference record than me but wed be tied and in division, conference and h2h next week if drd wins this week and I win next week and it would come down to all play.

If i win this week over peterbuch and lose next week and peterbuch wins next week, hed be eliminated. Me 8-6, him 7-7. If he beats me this week, and loses next week, but i win next week, wed both be 7-7 but i think hed take 2nd over me. if all that happens AND adp loses this week and next week, all three of us could be 7-7....and in that scenario i think im first eliminated (inside division) then itd come down to pb vs adp for last wc spot. Which im not sure yet, maybe adp gets it on h2h if div/conf are equal, but i think pb has a better div and/or conf.

The playoff scenarios for the National Reich are still too complex right now. Depending on this weeks results the South div title could still be won by any of three teams, and the the final wc spot could have four or five teams from both South and North involved.

Meh, is what it is now. All good either way, dont think im really a title threat anyway.

Far worse people off than me after today, think of Blacky who owns stingers first. Coz Lenny couldn't be ****ed setting a lineup Stinger is now a chance at playoffs instead of securing him a top 3 pick. He's pissed and I don't blame him.

It would be nice if every year i didnt have to keep trying to find replacements for someone who drops out for whatever reason, and having to explain to them all the rules etc etc. Plus the loss of continuity.

It would be nice if people didnt drop out over anger with things like perceived tanking, allegations of, or failed proposals to alter rules that help ensure league integrity.

But it would be just as nice if certain new rule proposals were voted in that did improve the league instead of being against change

Just set a lineup with players who are playing, I dont think its asking much. Takes 5 mins on a Sunday.

If it was a fun league I really couldn't give a damn, but we are playing for cash here. One person not setting a lineup can effect so many others. Be it playoffs and or draft positions.

The fact its a cash league "should" mean people care to set lineups and win, a natural deterrent to tanking or lack of interest.

I dont care if they want to win or not, its the knock on effect to others.

Jesus sets his lineup every week despite not being great, causes the occasional upset like last week against Blacky while playing in the spirit of the comp. He has a worse pick than Lenny now who has a far better team another example of this.

I get the impression Lenny may have been swamped with work/life this year.

There was a period this year when he was busy and not on BF or i was waiting for him to advise me on something and it took weeks to get a reaponse. And periods this year from week to week when lineups are and arent set....kinda reminds of Wizard in Alpha the last few years....says still interested in the league but then seldom involved due to life.

It happens... like JD getting a divorce and AE site no longer an interest and then no longer on BF, or someone starts a new university course like dagless abd dropped out of empire for a few years and seldom posted on BF, but then returned a few years later. Or someone got a new job lots of travel, like Brasher went missing for a few years some years ago but then returned. Or someone had a newborn child and has to change life priorities, happened to someone here forget who. Or someone like Helfarch or Cons_ss, just disappeared not a word, couodve been jail or death one may never know.

Anyway, i get the impression with Lenny its more of a Wizard thing.

Alvin Kamara would be better off in jail, at least drd could start someone else in his place if he was.

Well done to both Drd and Arakaan though, best of luck in the playoffs. At least I dont have to worry about cutting more players just to find a one week bye replacement for Koo next week now.
