The more i look at it the more options i have this week that are decent and choosing the wrong one could make or break my year me thinks.

That is before teams drop and other players get named/drop which could narrow or widen the amount of options.

Gone through about 8 different trades already and like them all so may have to pull out a dice and give the choice to it.

Could always list them ask Red which he prefers and pick the last on his list though:p

Is Luke McDonald worth a look? Now Defender eligible, going nicely, but hall and Ziebell no longer down there means he’s properly the man. And last time he had that role he was a proper premium

Don't go speculative is all I'll suggest.

Get names you know and trust and will hold even if they throw up a random bad score.

I'm guilty of taking way too many speculative picks early in the year and 90% of them don't come off or worse.. you end up needing to spend another trade in 2-3weeks to fix the stuff up.

with sloane out... do we give crouch one more week ???
I traded him out last week after being big on him all PS.

It's not his TOG that's a major issue, it's not that much different now to his whole career. He's getting plenty of touches and his K:HB ratio is about normal.

What he's missing is his tackles, only 1 in the two previous week takes him from his 90-100 to 65-75.

Think I'm going with this. Crisp in mid for now. Considering Mills, but prefer Oliver/Touk once they've dropped more.

I'm skipping Hobbs, too expensive and some cheap rooks coming through soon from what I'm hearing (Clark/Hollands etc).

Keeping Grundy. Swapped out Preuss for Hayes last week. I went early on Preuss and got 100k from him. I'm reluctant to get him back now, because it's so much cash sitting on the pine. Will have Rachele to downgrade next week and upgrade Caldwell to Oliver/Touk.
Looks good...if only I had a spare $795k lying around.

This was me yesterday.

in the end I did a double-downgrade and made it next weeks FREDERICO's problem.
Nothing beats a good old avoiding my problems strategy.

Haha fortunately for me I mean years gone by.

This year it's top 8-10 in that line or I'm not interested.

Bowey about as speculative as I've gone but that was more an expensive cash cow stepping stone given the state of defence rookies.

He's averaged 65 over the 3 weeks for me and gone up $100k so overall it's been an ok pick.

Steering well clear of the Blakeys of 2022.

I don't mind this haha.
You can't go wrong picking rookies up and making a little cash if you're not sure what else to do or can't quite get to the premo you want.

Even if they keep Flynn is it really going to make much difference? 70% tog for his 108,85 so Flynn would take the 30% he's off for then maybe just a few ruck contests while he's on you'd think.

Said same thing other week. Flynn will take that 30% ruck and say 40% fwd.

Only an issue if Leon switches those figures and has Flynn first ruck which I doubt.

Is Grundy going to average much more than Preuss?

Grundy and Gawn also have the same Bye

I'm really leaning towards ditching Grundy to preuss and getting Rowell upto Smith or someone

Theoretically it costs me another trade later in the year but with Grundy only averaging 91 will I even make that trade?

Or do I bite the bullet and go Timglish even tho it feels like he will fail at some point
