Trades 2022 Fantasy - Round 6 Trades

Not really sure what to do this week and have a few options:

1) Double down - Ward + Owens down to Hayes and Bergman if named/McComb --> fixes up a red dot, gives me 200k to go uber premo next week.

2) Go early on JHF + Ward for Newcombe/Gresham + McComb. Not loving it because not super hot on either Newc or Gresh but they would probably serve as a stepping stone to the byes.

3) Go early on Bowey + JHF. Gives me 810k to play with but not really sure what to do with it as I can't get any of the fallen premos that I'd like. I guess I'd be looking at Simpkin/Luggage. but not ideal.


As an aside is it crazy to play NOD on field over Bowey this week?

I’d probably field Bowey over NOD. Salem went monster against us last year. They will cut us to shreds with the team we named.

Mills for mine.

Yeah Touk could add points if he starts tackling but just hasn't looked up to it this season. Plus their breakevens surely come into it, Touk's still got cash to lose.

Why is a double-downgrade so hard to do? The urge to upgrade is so strong.

Can relate, I can get to Touk / Crisp / Walsh.
But at the moment I feel like waiting one more week and getting O'Dris and McComb.
That would leave me with 350 in the bank and heaps of upgradable blokes next week.
I've missed out on NOD and it hurts as he could easily go 80+ this week and shoot up another 60.

Managed to avoid the English hullabaloo thankfully, so I pretty much got my intended upgrade for the week, albeit I was $5k short using McCartin as the downgrade.

Happy to see the back of Lipinski, at least I started him so I didn't get fooled off the back of his opening round score.

I really want to get Hobbs this week so I can have a look at McComb, just don't trust Bevo. Think Hobbs is the real deal but slightly worried about Merrett back in.

Yeah I did look at Simpkin but worried about his up and down nature of scoring so far this year.

Nah it could be a forward or back as well. Just was prioritising a mid as I had 4 rooks there last week (Daicos, JHF, Ward and Macdonald). Hence wanting to get Hobbs and a premo there. But would happily grab a DPP player

Already have Treloar but yeah don't mind the others. Not sure I can do De Goey after last year and him being a shit bloke.

Parker really tempts me as a unique. Was having a dig through the CBA stats and they seem to have increased and the Swans run looks good.

im just salty coz he spudded it up start of last year, got injured... i traded him out and then turned into petracca ever since.... i just can bring myself to fall into his 9 month trap!!

I think my trades are just about locked, disappointed with Hall but it does create a really good opportunity to bring in Macrae and turn a on-field mid rookie into Macrae. Shout out to Daicos the star and his new DPP making this all possible.
