Why is a double-downgrade so hard to do? The urge to upgrade is so strong.
I feel like if you're gonna double downgrade then this is the perfect week to do it. Lots of headaches for people with Chapman/English .etc. out meaning forced trades. Shouldn't lose too much ground with a double downgrade, if any at all

Because that's the aim of the game (to improve you side).

Double downgrade is fine if you've got no other pressing matters or if you can't get to someone you like doing 1 down 1 up.

But the only issue is when injuries hit etc you might find you go weeks without an upgrade.

It’s so tough tossing up between Oliver and Smith. Can Baz really sustain this output? This screams of Sloane 2016, smashed it first few rounds then fell off a cliff
Watching Oliver fight to for his life to get his ton from 35 touches is painful.

Bailey Smith right now is the full package. Marks, tackles, possessions, he can ton up with just 25 touches pretty easily. Not to mention his tog is sitting at 95%.

i just heard English will 2-3 weeks (hamstring)... if that's the case i'll have to move him on

English -> Hayes,S
Rachele/H-Francis -> Cripps... yup, i'm buying him back

where to go from English,

already have Gawn, Xerri and Hayes x2.

is it Grundy? or could Sean Darcy be a buy low option?

I'm going to give Cripps the week to see how he performs.

Next week i'm planning on bringing him back if he can hit like a 110

How do you guys work out bye structure for premos. Where is the ideal mix come first bye?

Overall I'm looking at 10-8-12 currently which is fine.

Premos (inc Daicos) is 6-4-5 or 6-3-6 depending if I go Oliver or Smith.
Depends on whether your league has byes on or off....

If they are on, and you are worried about league wins, I would spread the premos evenly.

If they are off/you don't care about league wins and just want overall ranking, then it doesn't matter. You could spread premos 5-5-5 or 0-0-15 and you still end up with the same points over the three weeks of the byes.

Tea leaves time. Teams just about always start 1 of their mid rotations on the bench and McComb is the only mid type named there (been pure inside mid in the 2's). Thought he'd be coming in as a forward pocket but maybe not.

IF that's their final team sheet (big if) and he's getting mid time as Hunter's replacement that almost certainly means one of the usuals is getting pushed out to a wing for some or a lot of time.

Macrae? Smith? My money would have to be on Macrae if Bevo goes with the above scenario.

Surely not even Bevo pushes a bloke who has been AA the last 3 seasons out of the midfield for Robbie bloody McComb

You aren't getting Bailey this week ???

Bailey Smith spent a few minutes in my team this week. Decided I didn’t like his mullet so out he went and the classical locks of Christian Petracca are sitting at M2 now instead. Much better.
