I feel like its around this time whereby you start to take risks so for some crazy reason leaning towards Option 3.

I don’t trust Vlastuin but immediate reward if you go for any of them.
Option 2 seems a clear winner.

Have to agree with others, that this might have to be a defensive type round - as most are going to be stuck sideways trading Xerri, J. Hayes and Grundy anyway.

As much as I want to upgrade, gonna have to make sure I have cover for Hewett/kick my planned trades down the road to the end of the round.

At this stage, it's now:

J. Hayes > Coleman via SDK forward
Xerri > Rozee

202K remaining

This move allows me to simultaneously have cover for Hewett with Coleman/loop NOD if he has a good score and Hewett plays, with Coleman off field and Skinner switched on field (also gives me a Captaincy loop as well, regardless of whether Hewett plays or not - as Coleman plays on the Sunday). Means I could miss out on Mills, but there are plenty of good premos on offer anyway and you have to be adaptive in this cruel game, haha.

End of the round:

Ward/NOD > G. Clark
JHF > Uber Premo

Which would give me (using Ward out Mills in as an example of the premo trade in), a much improved squad overall - with only McInnes and Skinner as dead rooks moving forward, who can be fixed in subsequent weeks:

DEF: Short, Whit, Hewett, Sic, N. Daicos, K. Coleman (NOD, Skinner)

MID: Steele, B. Smith, Mills, Neale, Cripps, Jelly, Duncan, N. Martin (G. Clark, McInnes)

RUC: Gawn, Preuss (S. Hayes)

FWD: Dunks, Cogs, Butters, W. Brodie, Rozee, C. Curnow (Durdin, SDK)

UTIL: H. Dixon

Short has been great but reckon Witherden could match Short tonight anyway.

I’d imagine it’s just a rest and saving him from Petracca/Oliver combo so he doesn’t break.

Very tempted to chuck the VC on Short tonight having Max as the fallback for anything under 120.

Had his highest score of the season last year against the Eagles at Optus. They let him do whatever he wanted, nobody went in the same postcode as him all game.
