Was helping my missus with her downgrade last night because she's never heard of any of the options and she's got ****ing Naish as her back up to Hewett. WTF?

Not stashing anybody but I’ve got a bit of a squeeze in my defence at the moment so I’d swing Hewett into the utility spot or maybe even the mid bench and basically end up playing Daicos instead of him. Hence why I’d need Daics to be available to play tonight. Whole plan changes if he isn’t.

Daicos is tipped to be playing forward moreif he does play. From track watchers started HFF then moved into b team half way through and was only walking

The only way Hewett doesnt come in is if he is injured... trying to work out team selection and how he fits into the team is not the right way to view it

plowman and dow are the most likely to miss out if hewett is fit imo

Also having talls is not an issue for the GWS game, because its likely it will be raining

I dont see why we cant play SOS, TDK and Curnow as rotating big fwds with a bunch of smalls + kennedy roaming in the wet

Problem with this strategy, is you'll be luck to kick 5 goals between them - with GWS double teaming the tall at every opportunity and therefore the smalls having to do the brunt of the work.

It's the other reason I traded Hewett, because if he's done his calf, surely he plays a bit more half forward even when he comes back - rather than just straight inside mid, given the calf issues. Danger only played 69% on return and it's the same injury if not worse, so I'd say he'd have his gametime managed too.

She’s ended up with a spud for sure. Not like there was a good option to downgrade too anyway.

I just showed her how to show only the 200-299k guys with green dots

Nothing worse. My favourite is when you put a player in the UTIL position that isn't the same position as the player before them, and it goes 'player X cannot play in midfield/def/ruc/forward' - and it just doesn't work.

God I hope McVeigh has half a brain and FINALLY debuts Fahey next week...been killing it in the seconds and offers such bounce off half back. Would be the downgrade option we've all been CRYING out for (can play on field some weeks if needed as he could average 70-85+)

The draft side is even worse, it wont let you select a DPP as an emergency, as it doesnt allow you to pick which position they play in. It shows a popup, but doesnt recognize your selection
