Totally agree and what a get he was from the Niners! You would not be speaking out of turn saying he was the difference in a lot of massive games even with Aikman / Smith and Irvin on the offensive side of the ball.

Just a defensive freak.

And he had to go piss on a coaches car in the Candlestick carport sigh!

He was a loose cannon and lots of stories around he use take his massive schlong out in team meetings and just play with it and laugh as others looked at him! 🤣

Charles Haley just didn’t give a **** but boy he could play and was a 3rd down menace. You weren’t converting a 3rd down very often with him stalking you.

At least the NFC East deserves prime time coverage this year.

Go Eagles and 49ers.

The NFC Championship game fans deserve.

Edit. Cowboys win was 10 minutes old and the talking heads are already short stroking a Giants/Eagles v Cowboys match up.

It's why everyone not a Cowboys fan love watching them lose.

I’m not a cowboy man by any stretch but an NFCCG with two NFC east teams would be unbelievable hype

Internet and online forums will explode!

Twitter will be off tap and the fans this division has is astronomical.

Its a really interesting game niners and cowboys, if both teams defences show up we could be in for an amazing old school slobberknocker (at least as much it can be in 2023 with all the soft penalties)

Will find out a lot more about Purdy this week.

GMen won’t beat Philly.

It is a suckers bet that game. Bengals are a chance but GMen no way.

I don't think Philly can sleep on them... its not an ordinary playoff game. Its a hated division rival playoff game, and that is ALWAYS something the favoured team should be weary of.

I don't expect the Giants to win, but they played well enough last week to cause an upset this week, and they've got absolutely nothing to lose. Noone expected them to get as far as they have. They're a very dangerous team right now, and not the team I'd want to play.

Cowboys played their Superbowl today, and will most likely get annihilated next week. No way Dak backs up a good performance with another.

I was in Philly in late October/November - that place will go off. Half the guys at the sports bars couldnt care less about baseball but were off tap during the World Series.

And during that time the eagles were playing against the Steelers and Texans (hadn’t lost a game at this point) and the hype was unreal.

Can only manage what the Garage would be like this week against the Giants or if they meet the Cowboys in two weeks time - it would be nek level

Edit: quoted your wrong post but you know what I’m replying to!

As a long time Cowboys fan and while that so called big 3 you mentioned got the headlines and deserved so it was more the blue collar workers in that team I appreciated. Haley / Novacek / Moose Johnston coupled with a fantastic OL led by the thanksgiving game villian Leon Lett who was a gun OL but is remembered for the wrong reasons a lot of the time!

Not to mention we had a really good HC as well in Jimmy leading us and that Cowboys team from 92-96 was very strong with great depth everywhere.

Please that team was pinging all day every day, drug induced success 100%. Lucky the testing wasn't what it was today, and there's independent bodies that Jerry can't buy off.

The NFL embodiment of evil.

Wouldn't have had half the success without it.

I don't think the Giants are a hot rivalry for anyone in the East right now. Like, they've been bad for so long, and frankly their NFC record has been so bad that I think some of the hatred has dropped off. I mean, the Eagles have won something absurd like 24 of the last 30 games against them.

It's actually one of the things that worries me- it can't stay that way forever, we're due a big boilover and maybe this is it.

It would probably be somewhat of an irony if the six seed Giants game and knocked us off as the top seed in the divisional round, as the reverse of that situation in 2008 was really what started this run against them.

Skip Bayless tweeted today that he would take Tony Pollard over CMC.

If that is the quality reporting a Cowboys SB run is going to produce than I don't care if the 49ers never win another game, just win Sunday.

And regards the NFC East rivalries, I don't think people understand how big the Cowboys/49er rivalry is.

Pollard is CMC lite. Not even close to better.

Agree but I’d take Pollard over Zeke every day of the week & twice on Sundays! Which quite sad as a buckeye fan

Pollard is good , no question, I didnt call him a dud. But he aint no CMC.

This week should absolutely be neutral, with the Champ game in a neutral venue, how has this not happened lol.
Poor Chiefs lose their advantage for no reason. I believe this would be Mahomes first away/neutral site game in the playoffs excluding Super Bowls.
Same number of losses and we beat them in KC?

Vegas must have some information about the bengals’ o-line no way their odds look like that.

Bengals are also owed some massively good karma

Giants get close - Jalen has played one game in a month.

Jags could cause an upset

3/5 starters likely or confirmed out

Eventually Purdy isn't going to have a good game and everyone is going to jump on saying 'see told ya he is no good'

He won't win when he starts, he won't be able to beat the GOAT, he won't be able to win away, he won't be able to win without his d carrying him, he won't be able to win the playoffs blah blah

It's actually quite amazing at the amount of people almost cheering him on to fail. You would think a kid taken last in the draft would be a player that people get behind

I think its largely a reaction to some of the hype

As the tweet I posted after the 9ers game said, in the current day and age you can't have a nuanced conversation about how he is doing - Its either "look how great he is, he's the next Montana etc" or you're classed as a hater

Who wants him to fail? Im just saying we will find out more coz hes going against a top defense, if he plays well this week he could be legit.

PJ Walker, Jacoby Brissett, Kenny Pickett and Desmond Ridder* also beat the GOAT this year, nothing to brag about ;)
