K.Coleman gets covid the week of no Rich or Zorko. That's another tonne gone begging and a low break even just sitting there.

Last week I went Clarke to Tsitas (for spare money) after originally going Jed Anderson to Duncan.. stuffed up trades there.
(Other trade was Hobbs to Bont, had cash for that)
Wanted to keep the 1 up 1 down going so I don't run out of time to upgrade players.

Wasn't going to be around a computer between when teams dropped and the games started so went SDK -> Carmichael and Martin -> Duncan early. Would've been great if I had the balls to drop the VC on Duncan.

Also, gonna be sightly annoyed if Culley plays.

Answering my own question

The midfielder has looked AFL ready from the get go, and will bring some strength to an engine room likely missing Jordan De Goey, who remains under an injury cloud due to a recent quad issue.

With Carmichael named as an emergency, he may either replace De Goey, another teammate, or be named as the medical sub.

Pies are pretty incompetent. They’ll play JDG and he will tear his quad and Carmichael will play 90% game time with 1% ownership. The 1% being those who traded SDK to him and didn’t get a chance to reverse after teams lol

De Goey will be replaced in the side by debutant Josh Carmichael, a 190cm midfielder-forward the Pies selected with pick nine in the 2022 mid-season draft.

IMHO I think he will play an identical role to JDG with a split between midfield and forward time. He is a big body and would be wasted parked forward twiddling his thumbs
