I was assuming they employ a coach with a clue at some point.

i mean, no haha

I can see them loosing Hopper/Taranto in the off-season and fresh the list with the new coach

Follow up question (non fantasy related), does DC do everything Grundy can? Only difference is that he can kick goals and cost less than half the salary?
He is Wish Grundy, not quiet as good but will do the job at a lesser price

And doesn't mope around the field like a complete bellend

How much would Cameron be on 300-400k?

Another reason why fantasy coaches are better than some real list managers. We'd never dream of picking the 100 guy for a mil in the first place if there was a guy in the same spot capable of similar for less than half the price.

Definitely he just got a new contract so surely a little pay bump, but i mean Collingwood make a good decision trying to get rid of Grundy then turn around and offer McSpray and Pray 500-600k doesn't make sense

Going Cripps > Marshall by flicking a FWD into mids opens up a nice can of worms next week. Means any mid, forward or ruck can go up to Oliver (if he hasn't skipped a beat).

The candidates: Titch, Parker, Darcy. Who scores least for the remainder?

Titch will be an upgrade target for me next week. I can do a downgrade and trade him out and move him up to a Clarry or a Mills

Parker is good for scores of 80-110. Same for Mitchell. Darcy is pure rubbish right now so I would trade him.

Hit outs wise he’s nowhere near Grundy in terms of numbers or quality
Will compare Grundy in 2021 a down year some say to Cameron in his 11 games as the number 1 ruck this year

Cameron most hit outs in a game this year is 33 averaging 21.9 as the main guy
Grundy averaged 32 a game

Around the ground
Cameron’s averaging 15.9 touches a game this year as the main guy
Grundy averaged 19 touches a game last year
Grundy better around the ground you’d say for possessions

The area Cameron dominates Grundy is marks
He averages over 5 marks a game as the number 1 guy
Grundy averaged 3.6 in 2021
It ain’t close Cameron clunks them which Grundy doesn’t imo. He also kicks goals while rucking kicking 10 since taking over as r1 in his 11 games.
Grundy kicked 12 goals last year which was the most he’s kicked in a season.

You can see why they play Cameron as the key tall forward/2nd ruck as he marks it better and hits the scoreboard easier whilst Grundy is better in the middle. I think Grundy is a better player but If youre playing money ball footy then obviously Cameron for less coin is a pretty good replacement!

Now that's some good analysis. I think you're on the wrong board
