First week without an injury since before byes (knock on wood). 9 of last 14 trades have been forced.. here's the run from hell.

• R13: Smith Preuss
• R14: Zorko Gawn
• R15: Butters
• R16: Preuss
• R17: Hall
• R18: Oliver Whit

Still have a rook on field. Just hoping for some luck with (E) loops at this point
Cripps should have been flicked long ago (happening now 5 rounds too late)
Titch should have been flicked by now
Sic > Sinclair should have been done by now

I forgot about Butters and Gawns injuries, this make my run even worse. Who is worse out of the two of us?

Rnd 15: English & Butters (both injured)

Rnd 17: Hall (Injured)

My side has barely been able to improve since Round 13.

26 touches and 45 hit outs in the VFL, surely gets a gig. Saints have generally run with 2 rucks the whole year

Yep, it was a cracker, BUT, he did contribute two goals to the oppo through undisciplined acts to that might be his undoing..... maybe/maybe not....

I do like the idea of a POD but have a pretty patchy track record with picking the right ones. #chicken #reversemidas

Yeah - in theory that’s my final upgrade - then the following weeks are cherry picking. But in reality, still a good three to four months of upgrading to go. !!

Upgrade Cripps or Dawson?

My knee jerk is to get cripps out of my team, but dawson will get tagged

I touted the idea of trading Dawson earlier in the thread. Honestly would only do it if you have zero other issues (and if you’ve got Cripps then that’s not the case).

You’ll want Dawson back asap with games against the Eagles and North soon. Plus a poor score from him this week doesn’t hurt you much with his high ownership.

I do think Dawson is in for an absolute stinker against us but I’d probably be moving Cripps on first.

Feels worth it, gives a good differential as I assume a lot above me will have moved him on. Or better to go Steele and save the cash?

I held Oliver, so bringing him back is an easy choice for me, but some raised a decent point about how his injury affects his ability to tackle.
More kicks, less Handballs might be the trade off..
Haven't checked his ownership.
