Clearly an ACL is a bad thing.

However hoping that the year off gave Marchbank the opportunity to get over every other problem that he has had over the years with his body.

Serious talent if the body holds up. Would definitely make us a better team if he can stay fit.

Didn't Leon Cameron somewhere say Marchbank is one of the best players he's coached? Big call if so but big wraps.

Marchbank is pretty much the prototype for the perfect third tall defender. He's a gun, probably the only question might be over his kicking but that could be from a lack of continuity in his footy over his career. We are a better side with he or McGovern in it. Even when Plowman plays well like he has lately it really shows.

Another negative could be the slow motion in moving the pill on. Add the wonky kick & there’s action points for RFI at AFL level.

The only question mark I ever had about Marchbank (injuries notwithstanding) has been how slow he usually was to move the ball on once he'd taken a mark.

Would be interesting how he goes after being Vossed though.

To be fair, he often didn't have a lot to kick to.
Let's see how he goes with a proper game plan.
