TT is a good get, but still a risk.

It'd be even sweeter that it's a high end talent from North considering the way they handled themselves last year with the Greenwood situation. They say 'he who laughs last, laughs best' and this definitely feels like karma could be biting them 12 months on.

Whenever I think about our list build I often get drawn back to Brisbane and the moves they started making in the 2017-2018 period before they made their massive jump up the ladder. Tarryn Thomas kind of feels like our version of Charlie Cameron to me. Supremely talented indigenous player at a similar age and amount of experience - TT is 22 years old and has played 60 odd games, CC was 23 years old and had played 70 odd games. Then 12 months later Brisbane landed Lachie Neale and we've already made it clear that we intend on landing a massive name from next year onwards.

I hope your definition of "a very good player" isn't Tom Mitchell because that would be a bit of a let down IMO. Having said that, SUNS seemed to think we were also in discussions with a very good player last week so perhaps there is some thing going on...

But that is just a smoke screen for him to move here after signing a 9 year deal to run water for us.
