Can someone explain to me, I was looking online for Matt Shorts Break Even Rd 2 price (as quoted by someone from Twitter being 144). With his score being 159 , technically its 318 (as captain)...............am i right in saying , if one clears the break even with a score of 72 for the game- that too would have covered the break even if he was captain (score doubled at 144)?

no it doesn't take into account whether you captained him or not....it's just based on what he scored during the game and he scored 159. Also that BE of 144 is for both games total. BE of players with 2 games in a week would be higher to account for the extra game

What about in the case of say just 1 game?

Breakeven of say 72, and the player gets say 36 as captain of Supercoach BBL, does that mean he covers break even?

no why would it take into account if someone captains him? Otherwise some coaches would get different price changes for players depending on if they captained him or not...it's just based on what he scored during the game and price changes for each player would be the same for every coach

So pretty much whoever doesn't have Short now is pretty much ****ed because he is going to rise in price, and big time if he has another blinder on Friday.

He will be 280k or more by end of season i reckon.

With Matt Short not playing Round 3, the play will be to dump him in Rd 3, than to include him back on Rd 4?

Id imagine if he does increase to $280k, its a chance to top up on the teams to play the Double Round in Rd 3 with the cash?

Ideally you will look to put the captain on one of the Renegades or Stars players in Round 3.
