Getting a bit excited about this side, a lot to like. Really should have won the game. Cov had a spell maybe 5-10 minutes either side of HT but other than that we really pushed them back.
Mark Robins the Cov City manager is the English Championship version of John Longmire - can't defend a lead. Goes super defensive, and if you give the other team enough possession and enough chances, eventually, inevitably they'll score.

Hull look like they could be playoff contenders. But I think for Coventry it's going to be a frustrating season after last season's heroics.

Funnily enough a lot of Hull fans are crying that our manager is too defensive and didn't do enough this morning to win - we had 13 shots to your 3 in the second half! Sometimes scratch my head at UK fans.

Think you'll be up there again but a bit concerned with Wright and Simms for you, don't look like they've been the hits you'd have been hoping for when splashing the Gyok cash.

We have sacked our manager, David Unsworth. He seems like a nice bloke but everything about him screamed that he didn't know what he was doing. The poor tactics, his interviews, the passivity on the touchline. But it was the bad run of results that was his demise. With our budget, ground and supporter base we should be able to attract someone good to take over with the aim of a play-off position.

Another away draw for Carlisle, this time it was 1-1 at Lincoln, but it should have been a win, as one of the most obvious penalties in history was missed by only three people in the whole stadium.

The big take away from the first six weeks is that we are good enough to compete and survive in League One, just need a little luck to go our way in the front third of the ground.

Looks like it's on Hull City's site.

Yeah that's what I thought, don't think there's a televised Championship game mid-week.

We're on Bein Sunday night though against Stoke.

Sell out tomorrow morning though, first in the league since we played Liverpool back in the day.

Norwich vs Leicester is on the BeIN schedule tomorrow.
