I still think we're missing a killer finisher who can turn half chances into goals. (As I write this Saka does exactly that)

I feel like we leave a lot of goals out on the park due to poor/indecisive finishing.
Lately its been Havertz with goals and assists, its why its so maddening that we had him in midfield. He just doesn't suit the system there.

Then you put him up top, and he scores one and he won't get an assist for this but he got the ball to Trossard in a lot of space and that lead to the Saka goal.

Probably time to get a second striker who is more clinical than Jesus (not that its very difficult.)

It's a little give and take though, arsenal are a mostly defensive side who kill you on the counter or at set pieces. Part of that strength is having a Havertz Jesus up front because they are good defensively and Havertz is good in the air.

Martinelli is the one who needs to be upgraded imo, if you can find a goalscorer from out there I think that's the difference.

I also think though you might not even need it. You were a bees dick away from back to back titles against arguably the best prem side ever. Don't really need to change much at all

extremely fortunate to come out of that with a win. traore's terrible finishing the difference, which is funny as he has an alright record against us. defensively in midfield and the back poor very poor and they're going to have to work out what to do without rodri and adjust

Jesus had done nothing the last 12 months...

Martinelli bit of a goal draught... But that happens to everyone. (He got a goal tonight)

The fact that we ended up signing Sterling on loan with no buy option tells me that we're all in on getting Nico Williams. He would be the cherry on top.

I don't know if it happens, but it sure would be nice.

Scored against Leicester as well, but the main things has been he is getting in better positions than he was last season/start of this season.

Not so much in the past few year but there was a time when he'd be the best player in the world if only he could play against us every week.

Much needed win for us and best performance under Lopetegui so far.

Look a lot more solid with Todibo playing and been a while since we scored 4 and enjoyed a good amount of possession.

The signs are there, just need to start putting it together on a consistent basis.

Natural position apparently.

Hard not to feel a bit conspiracy theorist about the calls we’ve had go against us from VAR since the announcement that we embarrassed the governing body.

At least you’re not us, denied yet another stonewall penalty even after VAR could have intervened. The PL’s statement as to why it wasn’t given has been shredded.

Not denying DCL kicked the back of Burn’s leg, but his leg was there due to an unrealistic play on the ball from behind and has impeded the attacker in the act of shooting. Foul every day and twice in Sunday’s.

His leg is nowhere near the ball FFS, it was a clumsy challenge from a giraffe. The still photo doesn’t do it justice as you can’t see how he has come in, but it was from behind and not realistic he could have played the ball.

It was a loose ball, Burn has just as much right to go for it as Calvert-Lewin, and he was able to get in front. He didn’t touch Calvert-Lewin at all, as you say it was Calvert-Lewin that kicked Burn. That’s never a penalty.

DCL was in possession. Burn put his leg in which was a foul. The ref didn't call a pen so in line with this season's directives VAR didn't reverse it.
