I keep hearing it’s a shallow draft, but the kids coming through look faster, stronger, taller, more skilled and better conditioned then ever before, essentially far more ready for modern afl.

Running power seems to have improved across the board significantly.

Running power seems to have improved across the board significantly.
Professionalism has improved out of sight over the past few years. It means players come in ready to play AFL far more than they used to, but with less improvement left in the tank.
