Jordan Lewis in commentary mentioned that Fyfe has the potential to chip in with '40 to 50 goals' this season. He looks a long way from that .

Horrible round for me, especially when compared to round 1 of '22 and '21.
Players in orange were all one goal away from making some money.
I still think the Tay bet was the one. He had opportunities, and was stooged by the umpire at the end as well.
There didn't seem to be the same kinds of trains this year compared to Rd 1 last year.
Larkey with six would have paid reasonable odds I'm guessing.
There were a few decent odds goalkickers, such as Hardwick who was around $15 for 2+ iirc.
But they were few and far between.
There was still plenty of value left in rd 2 last year so I'm not giving up on season '23 just yet.
By the way, this place isn't the same without bloodret and dontlimitme and their shenanigans.

Yep I'm down about 17u this first week as well. Nightmare round.
Up about 300 and 290$ in bonus bets.

Any idea if SB will do the $50 back in bonus bets if any leg fails next week? They offered it for rds 1 & 2 of the NRL so I am hoping so.
I remember seeing 26-1 at SB.

Felt like there were a few great near misses for me. Cunningham kicking 2.1, Warner 0.3. Bobby Hill getting sharked from the cwood sub. Pickett ending on 19 disposals instead of 20. Ward finishing with 1.2 then getting shafted to the mids cos gws had no players left. Any of em hit & i'm ahead by a bit.
