I may not have been clear enough. I rate Buller highly, but I don't rate a forward line of Buller, Reid and Ladhams. Effectively it's just Buller, with Reid most likely on the sidelines and Ladhams no longer seeming like a viable forward option at any level.

And since Buller is an Amartey injury away from seniors, we need to draft a KPF. Sounds like we're delisting any other forward targets in Gould, HHK, Owen, and even if Reid stays on, we should have zero faith in his body and he's over 30, so need to add another to the pipeline.
Perhaps but I don’t think it’s as dire as you make it. Francis is also likely to play more VFL than AFL and he can provide tall structure up forward too in the VFL. Losing Gould and HHK is not the end of the world. We have enough structure now to allow our young mids to develop.

I have no idea where we are at with cap space especially with the increase in TPP but presuming we were to pick up both Grundy and Adams, my greatest concern is having the cash to then hold on to both McDonald and Gulden at the price they deserve presuming EG maintains his performance and Logan improves. End of next year we may free up whatever Reid is paid if we keep him on this coming season and maybe Parker if he was to go off the cliff.

Rankin, clarke,Hall-Khan, Owen, Gould and Sheather all have been delisted

If true, suggests Reid gets another year. None of these would surprise me although I thought I saw something in Gould as a forward to suggest another year. But by the same token, understand if he's been de-listed - he's had a while to prove himself.

He's may not necessarily be delisted, rather he may just retire. And if he's interested, maybe move into a development or coaching role?

I like how the 565108 post has been deemed gospel.

Poor man’s Sparklelord?
If you look at their posts you’ll see 100% posts in Swans threads despite labelled a Giants fan. A few correct predictions.

Gould involved in posts a number of times might suggest he could be their connection…

Interesting

Sometimes we have multiple lost announcements, some before and some after draft.

His position may depend on other movements if they come to fruition.

We came into 2023 with the same numbers of talls, one more actually, and how did that go? That includes the MSD picks, Grundy, Hamling. We have significant reliability issues over some players, so drafting to develop in the VFL is important, so that we don't have the same issues at that level now, and senior level soon. Not drafting given the question marks over all our KPDs, Amartey, Ladhams, with Reid and Rampe near the end, would be yet another year we fail to learn the lesson.

Rubbish might be a bit strong - but I’ve seen nothing yet to suggest Indhi Kirk is worthy of a list spot.
History shows that the club pretty much thought the same about his father at Indhi's age......

He turned out okay.

Even accounting for his injury history, I'm shocked by people's indifference to Reid.

Take the player he was in the second half of '22, and he'd be the best 'recruit' we've been linked to for next year. Ahead of McKay, Barass, Dow, TDK, Adams, Hamling, Jordon, and yeah, maybe even Grundy.

I get that people think he's unreliable but a 1 year deal is an absolute no brainer.

I'm not dismissing his ability, but even if we keep him for another year, when it comes to drafting and trading we should pretend he doesn't exist.

And when to comes to drafting, that includes Rampe.

Reid and McLean in the same forward line would cause some serious headaches for the opposition if they can recapture their form from 2022 and 2023 respectively :eyes:

That'd comfortably be the best contested marking forward duo in the comp I reckon.

Would give McDonald a very nice run at it too, likely getting the weakest key defender each week.
