My wish list in order

Charlie Edwards and Cooper Simpson

If not, then these positional types

Talls 1 of Dawson, Goad, Murphy, Zakostelsky, Green, Edwards

Forwards 1 of Moir Collard, Morris, Sanchez

Mid, mid/forward if we miss on both Simpson and Edwards. Stevens, Freijah, O'Driscoll

Late/rookie McAuliffe
One mid of: Charlie Edwards, Cooper Simpson
One forward of: Ashton Moir, Lance Collard, Logan Morris, Koen Sanchez

A combination of any of those and I'll be a very happy harvester!!!

A Fairytale of Lygon St.

It's Draftmas Eve babe,
In the think-tank,
An old man says to me,
'Won't trade that number one!'
And then he made a mock
'Must pick class before need'
I turned my face away
And dreamed Harley Reid

Got on a lucky one
Slipped through to thirty-one
I've got a feeling
He'll star in the Navy Blue
So happy Draftmas
I love you Carlton
I can see a better time
When all our dreams come true

Roses are red,
Violets are blue.
If we don't draft a superstar,
I'll ******* spew!

:p

Players i do want realistically:

1st Pick: Lance Collard, Tew Jiath 2nd Pick: maybe Cooper Simpson, Joel Freijah, Will Dawson

Players i don't want:

Long been Darcy Wilson, Archie Roberts, George Stevens...and i've added Ollie Murphy.

I don't think we need a Ruck, but if any of the Top 3 are there you almost have to pick them. They are top prospects who don't come along often.

Looking forward to the unpredictability of the night for all Clubs.

I wonder if Moir and the Camporeale twins being Glenelg team mates is a factor if we were to pick him?

We only drafted Bryce Gibbs so that we could secure his Glenelg teammate Mark Austin in the 3rd round.

Pretty sure...

:p

Personally I don't think he does but I don't have any insights other than what I've seen on field through the champs and a few SANFL games.

Im not sure how much a hip injury can effect you but if we call out his name id assume it must have been pretty bad. Couldn't imagine any team drafting him in the top 50 if he was fully fit and he performed how he did.

Hopefully for our sake he's cherry ripe next year and gets back to the player his draft profile read as at the start of the season.
Agresta said in his gettable interview, that we are after best available and then talked about the importance of intent. If that is the case Carlton are not taking Moir. I reckon Moir is a smoke screen and the hype is because Twomey has us taking him

I'm never convinced until I hear Shifter Sheehan say "he's a great kid."

A lot of people are shocked that the 1st round might stretch to 28 picks this year.

After listening to Shifter Sheehan talk about draft prospects, I am shocked there aren't 88 first round draft picks each year!!!

You bringing up Sheehan has got me wondering who the “running man” and “the boy with dancing feet” are this year.
“He’s like a taller, faster version of Bontempelli and he’s expected to go somewhere in the third round”

I now decree tonight’s Draft Thingy as roast worthy.👍

Alcohol will also make an appearance.

Have not done one second of research & will be swotting furiously through the YouTuberry & relying on the BF Blues expertise.

New Members hat is in the post, so the Kernahan hat is making a special appearance on this auspicious occasion.

Lol, I was going to mention “the boy with the dancing feet”. There has to be at least one of them this year.

I particularly enjoy seeing middle aged people in poor fitting polo shirts with last minute dye jobs, sitting around a table looking serious.

Roast Chook, Jamie Oliver style, garlic, prosciutto and lemon rind under the skin is in the oven as we speak....

The weakest position on our list is the true midfielder/forward player. If we could upgrade the Fogarty/Cunningham forward players that would be great. It would also help if they had an elite kick into the forward line.
Then long term, we could have a developing tall defender.

I personally think you recruit rucks off other teams if possible, unless someone of true value drops. (Grundy in his draft year)

If there is a skill set that I would not mind adding, speed would be a nice addition.

The only thing guaranteed is that the club will be happy and excited with who we pick, the player will be "near the top of our draft board" and we were "shocked he was still available."
