You are right anyway, late November is end of regular season schedule and there can be a competitive issue there

From what I remember it all depends when the actual team puts the player on IR fuey

Yeah, more the time between Giants making it official and then the site making the change.

I could be cutting it fine if it takes a while...

I’ve picked up a couple of players off waivers to cover byes and they show on roster as 3 yr contract as they were won at auction by another team …is that right? Not complaining just never noticed before …players picked up off waivers have usually had 1 year left

Before auction begins, all free agents are given a 1 ur contract, players formerly on 2 or 3 yrs reduced to 1. But any players won during auction always get a default 3 yrs that remains for the season.

If that player stays on your roster end of the season, he will go down to 2 yrs the following off season. But if that player is let go and ends up being a free agent in the off season, then next off season before auction will get reduced to 1 yr contract

That is different from what I had understood, which was that to promote evenness of defensive lineups, we had to start 1 at each of CB, S, DE and DT, and also have 3 DBs and 3 DLs. I

This is what I've always understood the rules to have been. So I've always had 3DL and 3DB. Maybe it's not clear in the rules or I was explained it wrong but I guess we all know now!

P.s if anyone needs to trade for cap space I am flush so send you salary dumps to me
