I’m eyeing Salem too. May be my likely Wilmot upgrade, which is why I’ve pocketed Pedlar for next week to downgrade him

Got my byes real heavily back ended now which has always been my go. Not worried about any of the first 3 and pretty free to make trades for overall improvement as opposed to being too reactionary to the byes. Just have to ship 3-4 round 15's over the course of 12 trades to get 20 playing in that week. Feels pretty easy this year.. only hard part is the lack of good round 12-14 options

Goal if the road stays clear is 21 keepers with Wardlow last rook on field heading into round 15. If the injuries and suspensions could hold off just another 4 weeks that'd be great

Pickett to Humphrey and Sharp to Wardlaw? Prioiritise cash gen over points on field? Thoughts?

Currently I have 20 playing next week so would need four scores from that lot.

Likely that I'll punt Brad Crouch next week however, which will leave me only needing three scores.

I can't believe what just happened to me

I was joking about my bench last week, yeah it's not funny now... it got worse somehow. I have ZERO ******* playing on my bench. All those weeks waiting for that spud Chesser to come back and he lasts one week the useless spud. Sharp I just got last week instead of Humphrey or Wardlaw, "we want to get games into him" Fagan said the old daft campaigner.

Everyone I pick gets dropped or injured the next week. Roberts over Seamus! Sharp over Wardlaw! It just never ever ends. I think I've only traded in one good rookies ALL year and that was Cincotta who everyone got on. I've had about 3 weeks where I could target a rookie and chose the wrong one every damn time. I'm glad I have to sideways 2 premos this week else I'd probably pick some other useless crab that gets dropped.

This year is incredible. There's like a handful of good rookies and the rest are absolute lemons. How do I not have at least one of Seamus, DWilliams or Humphries is incredible. Replace them with Roberts, Chesser, Drury and Spudhi Uwland and it's season over. OVER

I lost 6 players this week to injury/omission. Literally one week before byes and my bench is decimated and so is my hope. It's over, no hope now. All you can do is laugh

Yeah, saw this and was thinking as long as I get 2 weeks out of him to the byes then its fine, then Fagan went against the brissy poster so I took the risk

Fio probs keep for his bye but Ashcroft is going next week anyway as he has first bye and I'm hoping to get him and wilmot up to someone decent in that round
