He wasnt heavily tagged. I wouldn't even say tagged. Tagging is literally having a guy on your back the whole game like Ryan Crowley used to do. No-one has been genuinely tagged for years. They have run along players but Stewart still didn't have this. At most they were aware of Stewart not getting switch kicks. That's about it.

He absolutely was. Was holding onto him every time the ball went into the forward 50, ran with him the entire length of the field, and did not allow him an easy possession all game

Just because your definition of 'tagging' is different, doesn't make it objectively correct. He was well held all game and not allowed an easy possession - is the easiest way to put it. McEntee is a pest like that, but good at his job.

This is what Stewart does, most frustrating player to own in the game. Been on my never again list that many times and then nearly always reappears in my team every year.

At least he'doing it in a week where I get 4 scores dropped this time

It does look like Zac Guthrie is taking on that distributor role ......heir apparent

I reckon it was as heavy a “tag” I’d expect on a defender. McEntee didn’t let him out of his sight for the majority of the game and at one point I saw Marshall follow him from deep inside 50 to the wing when he was looking for a cheap touch. Fair enough too as it clearly affected Geelong’s ability to move the ball but I think it was more than just being aware of him. They actively shut him down.

De Koning was downright lazy last night ......how often do 2nd year players have a shocking 2nd season ....a lot

Pretty poor night with Butters and Stewart.

Butters was due a down game and I didn't expect him to get as many marks around the ground as he has been getting. Stewart being tagged was a chance.

TBF Butters took a few hard knocks last night .....didn't he have an issue with his leg in the 2nd Qtr ?

I remember nearly every person saying don't pick up butters like 8-10 weeks ago when he was his lowest price . What a pick up he was.

We were right to fade Copped a typical Butters heavy knock and had no CBA's from that point on to protect him. He didn't look right after it.

But nah, at least you still got 77 out out of it. Previous seasons that type of Butters game is a 40 type score

That's surprising. I didn't see him around the ball much. Especially for the for the 2nd and 3rd quarters he seemed to spend a lot of time forward and on the bench.

I didn't watch the last quarter. Maybe he recovered by then

Of course Hall dropped after I trade out both Sheez and JZ. Watch them average 100 for the rest of the year.

Seriously think it might be better if I just didn't make trades some weeks.
