Jack Steele really went big enough to force us to decide now if we want him or not. Couldn't he edge his way back to form like Mills?

Mills with his BE of 78 and another Thursday game means I will probably wait one more week and have another look on him, but probably comes in next week as my 'downgrade' if things go to plan.

And Cooper Harvey making me pay for picking Woewodin over him. Liked the look of Woewodin, but Harvey probably keeps his spot which is all I wanted. Feared another Drury.

Dev Rob gaining forward status is handy, but I still think he goes ahead of Windhager this week for me pending selection given the breakeven game (assuming I don't need Windy's cash this week).

Could go Neale to Sicily, Keays/Day to Steele. But suspect I'll wait a week on Steele, pay 40k more if need be, just to not waste it on him.

At the moment, going with this. Will change Peris to Harvey if Woewodin is dropped (want a permazero mid/fwd and StK have close to the last game most weeks). If Harmes comes back in, might change tact and get Neale out, as Melbourne have a history of hard tagging Neale

Can see Keays going straight back in the middle next week given how they got spanked with Schoenberg and Pedlar in there. 91 with the dud role was pretty good too, would do Day out before him

Coniglio or Sicily?

My trades will likely change, no doubt to a combo who score less than the above.
Make or break on Sicily this week. If he goes huge against North with that break even (62) he'll be pretty close to $1mil.

I like Day's draw, and I'm a big fan of him in general. I think it'd be Darcy Cam out before Day. We'll see how Sheldrick goes anyway.

Ash > Sic
Day/Titch > Steele

Do you give Titch another go out of respect or keep Day vs North. The other becomes Bont next week anyway.. got Humphrey's 300k burning a hole on my bench

Have changed my mind and have officially decided on Simpkin to Mills

Basically deciding my ruck replacement between bringing back Shrek or punting on big Baz Williams.

Williams has had a good second half of the season and has decent ruck matchups in the run home, No Nank Tigers this week at home to start

Xerri an option, and get Simpkin to best you can?

That’s another option for me too. Just splitting between the two haha. I’ve been flip flopping between them.

The Xerri and big mid option looks like the better choice so I’m leaning towards that one. Basically can get any mid from $918k downwards. The Dogs mids are all within the same range. Considering Libba as an in as the Dogs have Hawks and Eagles in the run home and another game at the freezer that is Mars Stadium. Macrae will be Bevoed and I don’t trust Treloar to not get injured.

Who to prioritise out? Two out of Hobbs, Green or Day?

Green > LDU feels reasonable with North's fixtures, but if I ditch Hobbs I have no idea who I'd move him to. No forwards putting their hands up.

Granted my rank is terrible but I would say Hobbs > Day > Green. I don't get the Green hate to be honest. Sure, he's dropped some turds but he's bounced back with a ton every time. Day has dropped off from the start of the season but has still put up reasonable scores even with Sicily in the side. Hobbs has most definitely been affected by Parish's return.

Fair shout.

I could do this to the dollar..

No clue what other forwards are really putting their hands up without taking a punt on a Daniel/Macrae or Walsh. Or jump on late to Butters!

Is Nic Martin an upgrade at this time of the season? Can you get a better forward next week if you move Day/Green on this week? Hobbs has been affected but it's not like he'll drop a 50 on you.

Sheldrick>Harvey
MJ>Steele

No rookies just a bunch of also rans.. sicily has to wait a week

I completely agree, I just have no idea who is a forward upgrade! I have TT, Gulden, Rozee, Cogs, then HH and Hobbs. Any forward I consider has serious pros/cons. Butters? Run seems to have died off. Walsh? Just can't seem to get going. Martin has the runs on the board in recent weeks and seems to keep pumping out 110+ scores.

EDIT: Had it in my head Walsh was a forward, he isn't even in the picture lol.

Good problem to have. I think Martin is an upgrade on Hobbs FWIW and he hasn't been affected by Parish so far. Butters is certainly capable but even I jumped off him a couple of weeks ago because I wasn't convinced he was going to average the 110 he was priced at for the rest of the season. So far, so good on that prediction.
