Definitely looked back. Covering ground, kicking goals, laying tackles, high TOG, and most importantly: FINALLY had over 30 disposals. Looked immense, and back to the Steele of old.
Good to hear as I wasn’t able to watch the game on Saturday and only saw the 146 haha. Will definitely consider now as it gives me a bit of cash to potentially finally upgrade some of my middling players.

Now do I get yet another Saint in? NWM, Brouch, Sinclair, RoMa, and then adding Steele in feels like a lot lol.

i own 4 saints and they love playing at marvel,

theyll bash the suns this week and then 5 games in a row at marvel then gabba during gf week.

Alright you've convinced me!

So thinking Hobbs and Green out for Steele and someone..

Can see Keays going straight back in the middle next week given how they got spanked with Schoenberg and Pedlar in there. 91 with the dud role was pretty good too, would do Day out before him
Knowing the Crows, they'll probably have Sloane in there full time so he can play well in his 250th. They should have Keays try to tag Kelly though.

On Jelly, that was a proper tag by Maginness on Saturday. Completely shut down to only 30 points. Crows should absolutely tag him

Not a great run coming up for Lions
Lloyd was Nanked & was in the gun anyway
Mills has done enough but there is Horse strategy to consider.
Sic should have learnt about throwing people on their heads.

Priorities this week .....could bring Himmelberg in for Windhager, however Windhager outscored Himmelberg this week, and the SAINTS have a great upcoming fixture

His price won't move much, so will look at all options next week: B.Smith is going to be dirt cheap, Cameron, and Himmelberg

This week, Sicily the priority:

Mitchell to Steele .....on the back of Titch's CBA's, propensity to handball now, in the COLL gameplan .....and Steeles great fixture

Walsh to Sicily, via switching Sinclair to the midfield ......Walsh still handballing too much, and hasn't tonned in 7+ games

Not sure what to do with my other trade this week.
Already going
Cameron > Sicily. Have 60k left over.
Sheldrick and Himmelberg worst two on field now but can't upgrade them.
Was thinking maybe Green down to Steele or Mills for some cash to upgrade Sheldrick next week.

Any other options?

I was trading out whichever of my 700k players performed worse, but they have had a spud off all weekend…

They all need to go, but who first ???
Their coach?

Shhhh - it’s my secret cash gen method !!!!

Or I must have been really drunk at the time !!!
Well, at least that trade is not going backwards

Reckon I'm about 2-3 weeks behind the rest of you guys here, very jelly about all these luxury trades I'm seeing, I, unfortunately, still have to stick to the plan of eliminating rookies from the field as well as keeping the cash flow going so I too can eventually afford the luxury of upgrading the DCam & Day types so.....
This week
MJ > Sicily and bring in Banks for a rnd 22 upgrade

Rnd 19
Sheldrick > Steele & Harvey for a rnd 23 upgrade

Rnd 20
Sheezel > Dunks and start culling the rookies to 200k'ers from this round till the end.

All of this of course is totally reliant on no injuries.

Oh! Who the fluck am I kidding? Plan has no hope and I'll just end up dancing barefoot on shards of glass.

Which of the below?

1) Day -> Sicily
2) Sheezel/Hobbs/Cameron -> Cogs/Dunks
3) Briggs -> Darcy

Actually that's a fair point, if Dunks is back then that's my forward upgrade (think I can afford Hobbs to him), but not sure he will be.

I'd be concentrating on eliminating whoever you see as the weakest player, to me that would be Sheezel with the uncertainty of his role (could have been ok if Zieball had stayed off the ground for a bit longer) then Hobbs who's definitely been affected by Parish (even though he still managed nearly 50 by half time) Day has a good matchup this week and with Sicily back might help with more inside mid minutes (even though Day has shown he can score well as the +1 in Def) Briggs has shown that he can score quite well around the ground and just looking at his fixture has a pretty sweet run coming up.

So, if possible, Sheezel > Sicily

*Disclaimer.....I'm ranked at 27k, so take what I say with the proverbial grain of salt.

This is exactly what I was referencing the other day. This is almost the hardest time of year, where your upgrades are no longer obvious upgrades, but speculative gambles on who will average more, the bloke you're ditching or bringing in. Will Green go bang this week against the Crows and go 120+ or will he put in another 60? Will Day jump back up to 95+ with Sic back or will he continue to limp along? Hobbs had almost 50 at HT with Parish in the side so could he put four quarters together and knock out 100+ or will he replicate his second half and hit 50? So hard to know.

It's also in some ways, depending on where your side is at - back to chook lotto with rookies. Will the one you have on field work or fail miserably ?

Think im going Green > Steele to free cash up for next week unless Sheldrick is out.
Green going 93 in the last 5 is shocking and i doubt Steele goes under that for alot less cash.

Averages are a funny thing though, in that 5 Green has a 110+ and two other 100+ scores so not as if he's churning out a 90 each week.
