Bit of a pain with Day, just traded him in.

I'm pretty much forced to hold him cause I have other issues. Trading out docherty and witts are probably higher priorities at the moment for me.

Its nearly certain that the hawks will appeal and you'd think a good chance for Day's tackle to be taken down to 1 week.

Positives: the second week with Day hurts a lot less than the first week with Day for those thinking of holding due to JZ/Sheezel moving back.

I don't have Doch, so a trade potentially makes more sense for me, but if I do sideways him I'll have Stewart, Daicos, sideways target, McGrath, Ziebell, Sheezel next week, forcing Ginbey out or one of JZ/Sheezel to stay forward to accommodate him next week.

I guess then upon his return McGrath would be the logical one to move to Day, but I almost don't like the idea of finishing defence so quickly. Maybe Day to a stepping stone (Hunt/Rivers), McGrath to Dawson/Sinclair/Redman, then when Day returns get him back via the stepping stone? Burns two trades, but covers the absence and hopefully gains 70-80k in the process. But yikes.

Think maybe the play for me will be to grab Cincotta and loop him D7 this week (or Cowan if Cincotta not in), then if they go 50+, keep Day and cover him with Chandler next week via DPP moves. Feels like the long term value of using trades wisely at this time of year exceeds the 60-80 points I might get for the loss of 2 trades to cover Day over an emergency.

Just hold Day and make whatever trades you were gonna make originally. It's a f*cking pain, but, JZ and Sheez can both go back at the end of this round, so it will only be an issue this week, IMO.
I can’t get Oliver. Will need to bring 2 defenders to avoid a donut.

Last week I was happy with my backline. Got stew in so I could move Ginbey to D6

One round later and now I’m fielding A. Doughnut at D6 before trades. It’s actually incredible how quickly it happened

Mackay gets off for his high elbow. League just picks and chooses based on its favourites.

I'm genuinely of the belief they intentionally make terrible decisions at the MRP to keep the comp in the news cycle during the week in between game days.

If Day's suspension stays at 2, he's out the door after being in my side for one week. If it's revised to one he probably stays. Frustrating to say the least as I was intentionally fading him upto last weekend. The Wilmot 36 as a loop score Thursday night forced my hand to bring him in.

At least I don't have Doch to deal with.

I have been static since the start and decided to trade McSpud = not happening
Doc - Trade . Day - Hold? . Ginbey - Watch
Been playing the D6 merry go round
Probs Doc > Dawson & Worpel > Rivers
Send Ginbey to mid to further F#$k that line

Doc
Day
Witts
Chesser
Andy Samberg GIF

Anyone else have Luke Ryan? Reports of a back issue. At 6.5 ownership I'm assuming not many do.

With Doc and Day out my backline is not looking good.

I went Day to Hunt and will go back in two weeks. Hopefully it goes okay since I’m at ~400 and don’t think I can afford to bench him.

I'm tossing up between Rioli and Stewart at the moment for my Docherty replacement. I really like Rioli as an option, but its hard to go past Stewart who has those capabilities to hit those high scores. I am worried that Duncan could hurt his score however.

Also since Stewart is cheaper I would be able to get in Touk Miller the following week (round 13 bye so a handy get), whilst on the other hand with Rioli I'd probably be unable to do it and would have to do it maybe the week after that. Rioli would be more consistent, Stewart would have the higher ceiling but does have the injury/tag/suspension issues.

Additionally, should I go Josh Kelly, Tim Kelly, or Serong?

Holding Day
Going Ginbey and Chesser to Cincotta (surely named) and Rivers
I believe the noise around Ginbey getting rested/subbed. With a 36 BE, that'll climb soon. Happy to go early there.
