Can't understand no Reath in the 4th, particularly starting White over him. White struggling with German size all game. Reath important in the 3rd.

Horrid coaching in the 4th imo. Let's them go 10-0 before doing anything and starting White for thee first few minutes who was well below par. No Reath and limited Exum and Ingles. They kept scoring on whoever Kay switched on but he left him out there and didn't adjust.

Freebies and turnovers all on the players though. Frustrating.

Decisions to start the 4th way too costly, weak lineup trying to play slow half court basketball. Should have come out the blocks harder if he wasn't starting the starting 5

I know there’s a lot of hate for him and he’s not the player he used to be, but we lack Delly’s composure.

His ability to control tempo, construct plays and get the ball in the right hands is something we miss.

And how Reath didn’t see the court in the last quarter should be the subject of a royal commission.

Did we use our review?

Yeah, used it when the ref saw it go out off the wrong foot and said "my fault, my fault" after seeing the replay, but still lose the review because FIBA decided you only get 1 successful or not.

Yep.

If that’s outside the 3pt line the refs call that 100%.

We played poorly, played dumb basketball , gooj made a bunch of dumb decisions, but none of that excuses the crap the refs put out tonight.

They allowed Germany so much contact on defence. Australia playing ball Germany playing rugby.

Then ****ing Schroeder. We played him shit but **** me, check if he paid any of those refs off.

Between playing every play like his coach called hack a Shaq and the most obvious kick out and flop seen Jesus ****ing Christ.

Hope he enjoyed that. When it comes the pointy end and Germany come up against Canada or usa he’s not getting those calls his way.

Not going to cheer anyone up, but I reckon that he would have landed after the buzzer. Can you call a foul in those circumstances? Genuinely not sure of the interpretation

Still shouldn’t have got to that point. Horrific coaching, line ups in particular in the second half. The offence continues to be unimaginative. Longing for the days of Lemanis jogo bonito

Daniels is a great player for our future but he’s excess to our needs and should have made way for another tall.

I went from 'ok they're leaving it late to make the changes' to just utter utter amazement as the last two minutes rolled around and Reath/Thybulle/Ingles still sat on the bench in crunch minutes. One of the 10 best defenders in the NBA during those crunch minutes? A clutch shooter and excellent free throw shooter. The guy who got us back into the game in the 3rd with 8pts in 12 minutes on 100% shooting?

Goorjian has no ****ing clue. Never has, never will. We finally have a world class team and it's being coached by a chinese basketball association reject whose only qualification is decades of experience sucking the dick of the Basketball Australia administrators.

He's not just average at coaching an international team, he is really really bad.
