Am impressed with how they came back after a very nervous first quarter and a half

Question. If we could add any Australian player in their prime who would you want to add. Think the candidates are:
1. Andrew Gaze: offence plus. Gives us size at the shooting guard position.
2. Andrew bogut: fear the deer period. Offence and defence at a massive size.
3. Ben Simmons: nba all third team, all defence first team era

Dante Exumlent, Patty found his stroke, 'Tisse defence was stellar, Giddey with a near triple double. The defence from the second quarter was stifling.
Just need to play like that for four quarters every game for the rest of the tournament and we will go deep.

Big Luc a candidate too.
Hard to go past Andrew Gaze though; he was superb for Australia.

And already two solid seasons of NBA basketball under his belt.
He looked very assured out there tonight; controlled the tempo of the game when he was on and made things happen offensively while staying super-switched-on defensively too.
I've loved watching his progress with the Thunder the past couple of seasons; it is easy to forget just how young he still is.
Great contributor tonight against Finland.

Tough comp.
Jock Landale is a really big loss; Duop Reath (who was excellent against the Fins) has a big workload ahead of him.
Josh Giddey, Matisse Thybulle, Josh Green; it's a great core with excellent veteran leadership in Mills and Ingles.
Every player on the roster is capable of making a significant contribution.
Really impressed with the way the Boomers rebounded tonight.
I can get them all though the ESPN app but I’ve got Foxtel. Do you get access to ESPN+ though Kayo?

Canada have less NBA players at this World Cup compared to Australia, but the quality of their NBA players are better than Australias.
Canada win over France tonight, and the way they did it means they have to be in the conversation to win the Gold Medal. A very strong team defensively with: Brooks, Olynyk, Fort, Dwight Powell and do realise that Barrett didnt have his best game against France.

Canada 30 piecing France is pretty scary.
A few things before Giddey more likely cost us a medal. Patty's long ball slump and lack of rim protection the most glaring.
Anyhoo, I don't see much other option at the point. Patty seems to be just trying to shoot his way through the slump from deep, had 26 in the end I know but thought he took some very ill-advised shots at times. Giddey at least can get to the rim more consistently with his size and is a much better facilitator.
Exum looked ok too at times in that regard (using his size and athleticism to get in the paint).

Yup, need Patty to find some form on his 3s, pronto.
Comes down to D with this lineup imo, we need to get stops/make steals then get out and run utilizing our big athletic wings in transition.

This Canadian team is gud.
Awesome win, clearly you're no show if you can't handle Finland fairly comfortably and they dug in and did just that after a pretty shaky start
