It is usually set up on the oval and people bring their own seats, sit on the ground, etc and no requirement to stand the whole time. That’s what has occurred in previous years - think of it like going to an outdoor music event like A Day on the Green. It won’t be like the Fed Square live site where everybody stands up on the uneven cobbles.

Is the below correct?
A) he's been allocated a seat in the ballot
B) Ticketek have encountered some sort of bank account issue
C) Ticketek have given him a second chance to resolve the banking issue by 12pm tomorrow
D) if he has enough cash in the account by tomorrow 12pm he get his seat to the GF processed and he's off to the G Saturday?

106,000 members, and club allocation is 17,000 tickets, doesn’t quite equate to any form of fairness.
Sorry to all those who may have missed out on a ticket. Hopefully, and l'm sure all the Pie fans will, enjoy the day and see our 16th premiership won, and celebrate that after the game......
Definitely the league needs to look at increasing the member allocation per club, who are in the GF, and let majority of the loyal supporter bases the privilege, of watching their team in the GF.

Thats why Eddie wanted to build our own stadium over the rail yards next to the G. Cater all Pies members.

That seems to be TDs account. I would suggest just calling the bank or getting someone within the family on the banking app and remove all payment limits.

Probably worth noting as well I believe it is the same card used to register the ballot so double checking it is that card and not the one on your Ticketek account. Although if it is different just do it on both to be certain.

Also, make sure the card hasn’t expired in the last 3 weeks..

The Some clarification here, looks like only 37 P1 members missed out completely, which is because they chose no standing

So Ticketek have admitted they stuffed up. This is an unbelievable admission.

“As the ballot allocated seats randomly it is possible for Priority 2 and Priority 3 members to receive better seats than Priority 1 members”.

The rules said P2 ballot does not commence until P1 has concluded. All reserved seats should have gone to P1 and once exhausted standing room starts. They say some P1 missed out because they didn’t agree to Standing room …. That means ALL reserved seats were gone.
That means no seats should have been available when P2 started.
So it is clear that ticketek completely stuff up the ballot.

Who knows. Ticketek & Ticketmaster are the 2 biggest ticket operators for majority of events in Australia, so I'm not sure who the competition would be. Ticketmaster are notoriously worse than Ticketek, in my experience anyway.

I don't know how it works.. or how these ballots & the allocations are generated, etc or how much input the AFL have.

TD, correct me if I'm wrong. But you have a ticket allocated for you don't? It was a payment problem wasn't it rather than an issue with the ballot? I'm not sure what Ticketek is meant to do about individuals' cards hitting their limits

Not Sure as I heard on the News people had same Issue I have.

It seems to be an issue with his bank and processing the funds from what I've read...

It's certainly not the club's fault.

Hasn't it been established that it was a fault on your end? Then the people who missed out clicked no to standing room. Like 30 odd people? If you get a second chance to pay then you should be thanking tickettek as I'm pretty sure the conditions said declined tickets would be forfeit.

Saw on the News people got same Messege as me but shows no Record in there Bank Account that it was Attempted to be Taken Out

Maybe the AFL was onto something when they had AFL X a few years ago

Musk bought twitter for 50 billion , and full rebuild of the MCG to a larger capacity would cost 5 billion

Musk could buy the AFL rights and run everything through his X app formally twitter

Ticketing , transport , food beverage and leverage of attendees use X app to make it worth his while.
