Think Ganna wins tonight as well. Expecting Vine to put in a good performance and surprise a few. Hoping Almeida limits the damage in the TT’s as I think that a few of the tougher mountain stages really suit him.

I'd be rapt if Almeida saluted after his heroics a few years ago.

Only watched the short highlights this morning before work, but that is crazy. 2 more TT's (maybe) makes him a hard man to beat. Last year's Vuelta TT was not an aberration but given Rog is a high level TT'er, Remco is just at another level.

Roglic pushed a much bigger gear than he usually does in TTs.

We all thought Pog would run away with the Tour last year after one mountain stage, so it isn't over. Gonna take one or more of the other teams to gang up on Remco for them to be a chance

I honestly felt that UAE were really stupidly aggressive in week 1 of it and it would probably cost them.

The way is to peg Remco's lead back inch by inch ala West Coast in the 2018 GF.

Tonight could be one for the break. Wouldn't be surprised to see Bling go up the road as he seems to be after the points jersey and a stint in the Maglia Rosa might work.

I've just started a new job and my time is pretty committed, so was looking forward to the half hour highlight show. Unfortunately live stages and full repeats only. :(
On Demand has highlights and extended highlights

Wet descents at the end should be fun
Can see Soudal letting Cort/Bling/Pederson go and being conservative on the descent. Let them have pink.

Nice win by Bling. Part 1 of 3 done for Jayco AlUla. Part 2 is Bling in Ciclamino and part 3 is Dunbar top 10 or stage win

After 3 stages it's pretty clear to see who's targeting what classification. Plus there's the fun stuff that the Giro do like Intermediate Sprint comp which always gets won by Corratec or EOLO-Kometa, and FUGA, which is basically who's done the most km off the front of the race. Let's have a look at the secondary jerseys for now (ie points, KOM, young rider):

Points looks like a two horse race between Mads and Bling. Milan might try to win it at sprint stages but the other two will probably get into a few breaks and fight each other for those intermediate points on offer. Hard to say who gets it but I hope it comes down to the last stage with Bling winning.

KOM is definitely what Pinot is targeting. His best move is to probably drop 10+ minutes tonight so he can chase points without any worry from Remco or Primoz. Not sure who else might go after it, maybe Barguil or De Marchi (who would be a smart break option for Jayco tonight), or even Prodhomme.

Young rider is Almeida or Remco. Don't even know why I thought about discussing it.

Well Remco was completely isolated at the end there thanks to the chasing at the beginning. Doesn't bode well for him when it gets steep for real
