Melbourne's era is reminiscent of Essendon's era in the late 90's and early 2000's, but at least with Essendon's sole premiership year in 2000 they went on to make history and then also went on to make another Grand Final a year later. The Go Deez after 2021 on the other hand have just wasted away.

I wouldn't call a top four side that lost a semi because of shit kicking "wasting away". They have something to work on over the summer and if they do they'll be very good.

Big call mate. There isn't a ruckman in the league that's changed the course of as many games as he has since 2018. Very good player. Why would we have beef with him anyway? His peak barely crossed over with Goldy's peak
