Collingwood controlled the game for the most part so probably deserved it. Hill also my pick for Norm, he was fantastic today

The END of the match? it was the entire f**king game.

The state of umpiring is shite in general. I just find it a bit of a wet blanket to attribute it to bad umps, when overall it was a good contest.

Lions had plenty of opportunities to win it in the last quarter alone, but they didn’t take those chances.

The Berry idiotic tackle for mine was the key part in the final quarter. Gifted Sidebottom a chance to kick a 10 pt lead. Once he did, Lions didn’t have the legs to pull it back.

Blinder from Graham Wright. Came in with a cooked salary cap, cleaned it up, brought it Bobbie Hill and then got Tom Mitchell for peanuts and both starred in a premiership.

Best team all year and all day won. Full credit

I remembered being torched by posters when I said Pies would finish above us last year. Fair enough to a degree Pies were a rabble. The turn around in such a short amount of time has been nothing short of insane. Hate seeing them win but they deserved it.

I mean Lions did so well this year, because their home ground is a fortress.

But the red flag rears its head again - they cannot replicate their game at the ‘G.

Their general ball movement was a lot worse than at home and couldn’t ever give their forwards equal supply to the Pies.

If the game was even on I50s, Lions would have won 100%. But credit to Fly and his game plan, they out-hunted them.

I'm happy with result but not over the moon it being Collingwood but I'll take it.

I grew up in Adelaide and experienced the hell that was 97-98 then moved to Brisbane just in time for the 01-03. I'm sure it's horrible to have to deal with cocky Collingwood supporters but try being in a one team town full of bandwagoners. I wasn't keen on living that experience again.

Absolutely out coached Fagan today. Just choked up a lot of their ball movement through the middle, was ruthless.
