Disappointing that a very bad umpiring call will be discussed at length on what was otherwise a good game to watch. They say umpiring doesn’t influence games… that is bullshit.

The Lions will rue giving red time goals in the first three quarters But you can’t deny the Pies played well enough to win.

It was also pretty obvious with about 90 seconds to go that Collingwood’s “protect the lead, chip it around with dinky 15m backward passes “ kicked in. Mitchell’s natural kicking game kicked in here.
I was shouting at the screen, “man them up you stupid campaigners”.

How crazy is it that when you switch on to watch the grand final every year there's almost always a Hill, a Pickett, or a Rioli running around out there. The amount of success these indigenous families is unbelievable.

Pretty good game, recon Brissy had far too many passengers.. that Hipwood is a deadset liability.. took me about 15 min to realise Gunners wasn’t out there.

That 50 sidy will haunt them and that “advantage” call was a disgrace.

Best team all year won it in the end and deserved.

On the plus side.. hawthorn defeated both of those campaigners out there this arvo.. sign of things to come me thinks.
