It's a terrible pitch even for an ODI, way too much in favour of the batsmen and it's boring to watch unless you are an Indian fan.

Compare this to the India v NZ semi final or the final in England in 2019 which were much better contests as the pitches weren't roads.

Watching this game and randomly reminiscing about how, back in the 90s, if the chasing team's run rate got above 6, Richie would tell us repeatedly how buggered they are. And if it got to 8-9 an over? Richie didn't even want your ratings, turn the tv off!

We haven't really been shit at the world cup for 30 years now though. 2011 was our worst output which was a QF loss to the home team that went on to win it all
