Batting conditions are much harder under lights here than batting first, I doubt Australia or South Africa would be doing much better here.

They have better quicks, Boult at his best might be close but he’s 5 years past that.

They bat deeper, Latham at 5 is optimistic. Relies very heavily on the top 2.

Doesn’t bother me a great deal but it does look like the game has been switched to another planet.

Good sides will win regardless you’d see Virat just get through the first 20 overs chasing them back himself to catch up. Ball isn’t doing a lot now was just the first 10-12 overs

Yes agree but even if the ball moves for just 10 overs for one side it’s a big advantage.
Bat both sides for 25 overs seems a pretty simple solution if the people that matter think their is a problem

Heavy pass. Changes the fabric of the game way too much the toss is part and parcel of the game you win some and lose some. Pick a side that doesn’t favour one way
