This is the sort of pitch where you need to dig in to make a score. Makes me nervous for Warner/ Head/ Marsh/ Maxwell. Think Smith or Labuschagne are the key players for us.
Smith probably has value here as there's time enough to craft an innings. He's not the guy you want in the lineup when you're chasing more than a run a ball total but at less than a 5 an over his steady head becomes valuable.

5 catches in a World Cup final by Inglis thats a fantastic effort for a keeper
Catches by a keeper is such a useless stat when 90% of them are caught by an international standard keeper

Need some runs from this guy here

You do realise that if someone’s arm bends BACKWARDS and you are dumb enough to think they throw it, then the only thing suffering from more of a natural defect than their arm, is your brain, right?

Throwing laws in cricket are designed around bowlers whose arms START bent and STRAIGHTEN, not people who’s arms are perpetually straight and then hyperextend (look it up, I suspect it’s a word you’ve never heard before but people with vocabularies larger than a grape would have)
