Dare I say it could just be $20 for this season. There isn't time to migrate category leagues to AF. So they are charging us to keep the existing site going for 2023 giving them time to shift over to AF in 2024.

All UF points leagues have been shifted. The site is only running categories. I urge everyone to pay for this season. And then wait and see what they plan 2024 and beyond. Might be a once off.

This is for sure a money grab, UF have named the highest price they could've gotten while still ensuring prob half the leagues go ahead. Anyways, i think someone better do a roll call and get everyone to confirm and on that note im in at least for this year, assuming next yr will go back to being free.

Sounds like a once off. $20 for something that was free sounds like a lot but the amount of time I spend each week checking match scores ect and to play categories isn’t a big deal to me. If anyone has any financial hardship that is stopping you from playing hit me up.

Right, like a movie or lunch or something where you get like 30 mins or 2 hrs of enjoyment costs the same and many of us spend half the yr following our teams etc. For me it makes me care about other AFL games where as without these 2 leagues i would only really pay close attention to Melb games. Its similar to betting on sports right, it spices it up a little.

Sorry guys, I might as well be up front but if they’re charging then I’m out. I’m in a couple cash leagues which I can justify if I’m a chance to win money back but I can’t justify paying money for a non cash league. Sorry if that upsets the Apple cart this close to the season but just letting you guys know as early as possible.

Totally understandable mate, no qualms from me. I kinda feel the same but have been in this league since it's inception and so am a little sentimental about it.. things we do for love..

Lol after like 10 years and 7 years all of a sudden both leagues get Whatsapp within an hr of each other. It's like the AFL adding on demand streaming 15 years after the NBA. Technology advances, next step, get AI to do my trading and list management .
