Where did you end up in the 18 Grand final? What about weeks 1-3 of finals seats?

Not true. Unless you select best available, you can sometimes choose your bay you want to sit. I did that for the Geelong game.

GF was about row 10 of the third deck.
Yeah, ok, at least I got tickets. But I’m a 25 year member, Legend since it’s inception and was charge tier 2 pricing.
My other finals seats have been good.

Ended up going with the Legends MCG package, as we never attend Marvel anyway.
Spoke to someone on the phone and they said reserved seats won't be allocated until November. So planning to call back then and sort out the seating location.

Yea. I mean if I just turn up close to the start of the game on match day is it hard to find a seat in those bays?

As an afl member, I’m looking at getting a legends membership on top. Apparently is half price with the afl membership? Does anyone else do this? I have some friends who go for other teams that’s why we all got afl memberships. If for example I have a reserved seat for Collingwood v Carlton, do I still have an option to reserve seats in the afl reserve so I can sit with my friends?

I have both legends and afl membership due to waiting to be upgraded to gold afl which happened this year. My collingwood legends is about half price therefore i get two memberships for the price of one. You get two different sets of barcodes so you can choose to sit in afl member allocation or club reserved bay/seat allocation.

You just tell the club youre an afl member when you take out the membership and i think they ask for your afl membership number

As a Legend you get an allocated seat. Same one for h&a. People tend to get pretty attached to their spot.
So you sort out your allocated seat with the club in November and your done.
It’s not a Legends general admission bay.

All the Legends memberships (plus the anzac day membership) is sold out. They had to bring in a new version of legends ("Home")

Was a longtime legend’s member then an AFL member. Had an absentee membership during covid but I’m now so sick I can’t get to games. (Not because of covid but a rare neurological condition) I became an at home member not sure of the name this year with the pies. I missed one year of membership because my disability payments wouldn’t pay for it and my years started back at one. When in reality I’m going on to nearly 50 years a member. Was not very happy about that!!
Started with the junior supporters club which got me 5 games had to talk my Essendon and Carlton family to take me. Normal season tickets and reserve seats at Vic park, legends member then silver and eventually gold AFL. Last game I saw live was in 2016 but I kept my membership, until I just couldn’t afford to DSP isn’t a lot. I was glad to pay my $60 bucks this year to still be a member even if I can’t go.

I watch most games propped up in bed with the sound down and the radio up. Great way of doing it, no ads and no f ing music between goals .
Will definitely be getting that membership again, I got a scarf, hat and a bloody fun year of footy this year. Glad to help the club and so happy with Fly as coach, it’s amazing what a good game plan can do.

Sorry for the long post but all members, no matter how they watch us should definitely renew.

Hey everyone, just an update to this, I’ve heard back from the membership department and they are going to reinstate my membership back to 1986. So a 30+ years member. Interesting they didn’t count the junior membership but no complaints here. Was very glad to have it back.
I want to thank a bf member for making an initial inquiry on my behalf and letting me know about the possibility of getting the years back. I won’t mention their name as I’m not sure if they want me to name them but feel free to out yourself as good karma is definitely coming your way.

I was also a card carrying member since the late 70’s…then joined the Social Club in 1980.
Overseas & allowed it to lapse in 2000…then rejoined as Legends at end of 2009.
However, only considered to be a 13 year Member.
The 20 plus years 70’s, 80’s & 90’s forgotten.
Not the same circumstances as you unfortunate health up issues…although similar outcome.
Maybe I should approach the Club?
I hope your health improves & that you can attend games again sometime in the future.

I'm pleased they've finally got a Kayo package. Can have a membership beyond the donation and save on streaming. If you live in a state or territory where Collingwood don't play, the membership packages aren't amazing.

I have a season ticket - freedom. I keep seeing that to upgrade your GF priority, you need to add social club membership… I can’t see an option to do that?
